Types of switches

How to connect a switch

Initially turn off the electricity. Next, you need to prepare the wires in the installation box, for this we clean them with pliers. It is necessary to leave about 10 centimeters of wire, cut off the excess with a clerical knife. Now you can connect the wiring and the wires of the switch. If the wiring is three-phase, then this process will not be difficult. 6 just connect the corresponding cable colors to 3 phases and zero.
If the wiring is two-phase, then you need to fasten the switch wires with a terminal, and as a result, get two jokes instead of three, connect them to the power supply.
Install the protective plates and turn on the power. Ideally, both switches should be in the up or down position when the light is off. If necessary, remove the second electrical switch, rotate it 180 degrees in the box, then set it as the two positions of the toggle switch.
