In addition, you need to stock up on: R3 and tuning resistors (the latter of any type); capacitors of any type for an operating voltage of more than 10, 16 and 25 V; a diode bridge designed for an operating current of approximately 200 mA and a voltage of 50 V; LEDs of blue, green, red glow (six pieces per one channel); transistors VT1, VT2; five-volt voltage stabilizer; three-pin jack; transformer with relevant parameters voltage.
You can make color music according to several working schemes. The simplest option is an amplifier and three channels for frequency processing. The circuit is equipped with a transformer, but if the level of the output signal is able to open the LEDs, then it can not be used. In the embodiment, there are three adjustment resistors. Any transistors that transmit more than half the current are suitable.
In the second embodiment, LEDs are used of any type. The main requirement for them is super brightness, different glow. The signal from the source enters the system through the input. The following is a summation of the channel signals and their direction to three resistance variables. The latter control in each channel the signal level, which then falls on the filters. After everything goes to the LEDs.
For the manufacture of the simplest color music, you will need LEDs having a size of 5 mm. You also need to stock up on: a cable from the headphones; 12 V battery Need transistor KT817, several wires; pieces of plexiglass; glue.
First, using a glue, a rectangular plexiglass case. The number of LEDs that need to be placed in the box is calculated by dividing the battery voltage (12 V) by the one on which the LEDs work. If the last 3 V, then the number of LEDs is 4.
Strip the wire from the headphones. Of the three conductors used, one will be common, one serving the right or left channel. The third conductor is isolated.
LEDs are interconnected in series. Their common "minus" is attached to the average output of the transistor; “Plus” - to the “plus” of the battery (12 V). The wires from the headphones are connected to the remaining outputs of the transistor. One of the last wires is connected to the "minus" of the battery.
After assembly, the circuit is placed inside the housing, which is covered with a lid. The output of the wires from the headphones is done through an opening in the wall. The color music is ready.
