In the third method, use table vinegar. It must be applied to the cement mortar, wait until the acid begins to soften it, and then clean off the remains with a brush.
Removing cement from a brick
It is possible to remove cement mortar from a brick by resorting to one of the methods: mechanical and chemical. In the first case, you will need brushes, a hammer and other tools, in the second - acid or special solvents.
The first method is to clean the brick from pieces of cement with a metal brush, chisel and hammer. It is important at the beginning of mechanical cleaning to completely wet the entire surface with water. At the last stage, when there are no large spots of cement on the brick, cleaning can be done with sandpaper.
