The appearance of a crack in the wall is a rather troublesome event. The reasons for this may be different. As a rule, this is a failure to observe the proportions of the constituent components, a violation of the application rules or improper care of the wall during further operation. However, most often the reason lies in the fact that the layer of plaster is too large.

If the wall is subjected to any work related to puttying, painting or wallpapering, it is also difficult to avoid cracks. To deal with this disadvantage of plastering, you can use wall reinforcement. For reinforcement, you can use fiberglass or masking fiberglass.

It is possible to use glass, but this is the most expensive option for the price. For reinforcement, specialists often prefer to use fiberglass. Due to the structural features of this material, with its help it is possible to reliably protect the walls from the repeated appearance of cracks on them. When reinforcing the wall with fiberglass or cullet, special glue is used.

Before gluing fiberglass, the surface of the wall is carefully processed. Previously, it is primed and dried. At the finish, the fiberglass is first puttied, then dried and painted.

Cracking a brick wall

In order to carefully fill the joints with sealant, a special construction gun is used. With its help, work is carried out much faster and more accurately. The remaining material is removed with a spatula, and the wall acquires a flat surface. Do not use silicone sealant, as it will be difficult to stick to it in the future, putty and plaster. Staining will also become problematic if this sealant is used.

Of course, an ordinary solution is cheaper, but if it comes to the quality of work, it is recommended to use modern materials. Despite the rather high prices, for example, the sealant wins back with their more reliable characteristics.

In addition to the sealant, you can use cement mortar, you just need to remember that before closing the crack, it is well wetted inside with water. Such a composition, in principle, can be replaced with similar materials, for example, tile adhesive.
