Why classic design is so expensive

Something unknown and unfamiliar appears around us constantly. Forever leave things that seemed to us ordinary and irreplaceable before. However, certain constants remain, remaining practically unchanged for centuries. Imprints of epochs remain on them, but the basis is still the same. One of these constants, which will always maintain its uniqueness, can be considered a classic style. It has quite a few directions.

/

It is customary to attribute to classic both English classicism and empire, baroque and some other styles. Neoclassical style is another area. It is more modern, but the imprints of bygone eras are felt here too. It is neoclassic who most of all meets modern realities. Most designers consider this option the most appropriate for those who follow traditions. It should be understood that the classic is not limited to the interior design. This is a reflection of the nature of homeowners, an indicator of their taste and maturity. Most often, the classic style is already chosen by a lot of people who have reached the older or at least middle age, who have a certain wealth.

The high cost of the classics can be explained by the fact that it is obliged to emphasize the respectability and viability of the homeowner. It is for this reason that only natural and very expensive materials are necessarily used. Even if you choose not valuable species of wood, you will have to lay out a lot for their high-quality processing. Natural marble and materials similar to it will need to be used to create fireplaces, decorative elements, and floor finishes.

The atmosphere of aristocracy is an indispensable attribute of this style. Even if you try to choose cheaper analogues of expensive finishing materials, you will have to spend good money on furniture and other elements.

It is not necessary to limit oneself to the narrow canons of strict classical directions. It is neoclassic today that is considered the best option. It easily combines elements of baroque, English classical style and modern notes of minimalism. As a result, even the most daring wishes can be realized without any problems. This is a very comfortable and very flexible style. Alas, before the start of design design, many fans of the classics did not even suspect how narrow the framework of the rest of the classic directions is. It should be borne in mind that it is very easy to turn such interiors into pretentiousness and ostentatiousness, if you simply focus on expensive materials. The taste in the classical style is no less important than investing money. All elements must be verified and matched accurately, so it’s unlikely to do without the help of professional designers, which requires additional costs.
