To make a call you will need a push-button telephone with an mp3 player, a soldering iron with flux and solder, copper wires, screwdrivers (flat and cross), second glue, insulation (electrical tape or thermotubes), stationery knife, scissors.

Process

First you need to disassemble the phone, pull out the battery, unscrew all the fasteners and remove the latches. All manipulations are carried out with a flat screwdriver. The mp3 button of the player responsible for playback and pauses is removed so that you can get to her contacts.

Thin wiring is soldered to the mp3 contacts. And the bases of the wires are attached to the chip for a second glue. The work is complicated, everything needs to be fixed carefully and slowly, since the area of soldering is very small.

If there was no play button in the selected phone model, you can use the contact on the chip from the “ok” button. If you managed to solder the wires to the contacts, the phone is going back: the screws are tightened, the latches and the case are put in place. Wires are brought out.

After you need to turn on the phone, go into the player and select the desired sound. In the settings, you must turn off the repetition of the melody, otherwise when you try to ring the doorbell, the phone will play a sound until the battery dies.

Next, you need to pick up a double wire of the required length to conduct it from the call button to the phone. And choose the key itself, which can be borrowed from the old call. Now the wire connects to the button and stretches to the phone. The wires are twisted together and insulated with heat-shrinkable caps.
