Walls

Light and space is the first thing to say about the Asian-style interior. Floor

Instead of a bed, you can put a futon in the bedroom, which is cleaned in the closet during the day. If you prefer to sleep on the bed, it should also be low and made of dark wood. Upholstered furniture with bright upholstery cover with beige or white covers.

Window draperies

Remove heavy curtains blocking natural light. On the windows you can hang blinds made of natural straw, reeds or thin wooden planks. If the windows do not go outside, and you are not afraid of prying eyes, leave the windows not covered at all so that nothing would interfere with the penetration of daylight.

Accessories

All electronic devices - TV, stereo, speakers, clocks - get out of sight behind the doors of simple design cabinets. Hide electronic cords behind furniture or under rugs. Store the remote controls in a wicker basket made of twigs. Decorate each room with decorative elements reminiscent of nature and emphasizing the Asian theme of the interior: bonsai tree, shoji screens, bamboo, Japanese lanterns and umbrellas, a table fountain or a waterfall, sofa cushions of an earthen palette, calligraphy samples, wicker baskets, Asian statuettes.

Simplicity

Remove all unnecessary items from the room: trinkets, paintings and other wall decorations, collections of figures, photographs. Even Japanese-themed accessories need to be used very sparingly - only a few carefully selected items. Remember, Asian decor is, first of all, minimalism and functionality.
