  3. Ceramic. Ceramic electric stove for the kitchen is equipped with a tape or spiral thermal element. The appliance heats dishes very quickly and has an economical consumption of electricity. However, it also has a considerable cost and requires cooking containers with a perfectly flat bottom.
  4. Halogen. Unlike typical heating elements, in such stoves, heating occurs using intense halogen lamps. They differ in average energy consumption, high prices and expensive maintenance.

Cast Iron Cookers

Standard kitchen electric stoves with cast-iron burner devices usually have two types of execution:

  • With enamelled countertop. Such coverage with proper care will retain its original appearance for a long time. When cleaning such a plate, the use of metal brushes and abrasive powders is unacceptable.
  • With stainless steel countertop. This coating is more stable and reliable. However, it is also afraid of abrasive substances and is prone to the appearance of stains from water on its surface.

All cast iron burner devices have the following varieties:

  1. Traditional. Burners of medium intensity, starting the course of work in 8-10 minutes after switching on.
  2. Express burners. Intensive burners, starting work 5-10 minutes after switching on.
  3. Mechanical. Such burners have an induction sensor, which well determines the temperature parameters of the containers placed on the burner.

Plates with cast-iron burner devices have advantages in the form of:

  • Low prices;
  • The simplicity of the quality of heated dishes;

However, they have a number of minuses:

  • Instability of some containers on burners;
  • Uneven heating of the bottom of the containers;
  • Sophisticated burner cleaning
  • Increased heating and cooking time;
  • High power consumption.

A modern electric cooker with glass ceramic differs in a smooth mirror working surface and can be equipped with the following types of burner devices:

  • Halogen, gaining heating speed in 2-3 seconds, thanks to a special LED connected to the spiral.
  • Rapid, with a slightly lower power and heating rate. These are reliable and quite economical burner devices;
  • Inductive, specifically heating the bottom of the container. Devices require the use of special utensils during operation.

Ceramic devices have several advantages:

  • Adjustment of the heated work surface;
  • Quick heating of dishes and food;
  • Easy to care for flat mirror plate;
  • Ergonomics management;
  • Streamlined design.

With all its advantages, stylish and modern devices have disadvantages:

  • The purchase of special dishes;
  • Caring for the device only with the help of special tools;
  • Hypersensitivity to damage and splashes of water;
  • Very high cost.

Induction cooker

Electric household kitchen appliance, the principle of which is to heat the dishes induced by vortex flows. When cooking on such stoves, standard aluminum or ceramic dishes are not used. For cooking on an induction working surface, it is necessary to purchase and use only metal containers, to which a magnet will stick well.

Today, the manufacturer offers domestic consumers glass-ceramic devices of various characteristics and application features:

All existing types of burners can be manufactured in the following configurations:

  • A two-loop burner. Thanks to this design, it is possible to control the heating area;
  • Oval-shaped burner. Applicable for cooking containers of the same configuration;
  • Grill burner. Ideal for cooking without adding oil;
  • A burner in the form of a flat all-metal sheet (FRY-TOP), serving as an ideal unit for frying meat and vegetables.

Control

Standard electric household cookers for the kitchen have simple mechanical control. Such models are equipped with an LED or a digital indicator located near the display of the heating zone.

But devices with a ceramic or glass working coating are equipped with a slide mechanical switch or sensor.

Functionality

All upgraded electric cookers may have a number of secondary options and features:

  1. Burner size control function. Thanks to this option, it is possible to cook in any, not even standard, dishes.
  2. Built-in skewer. A very convenient thing for cooking meat or fish.
  3. Blocking from accidental start. The safe mode function will not allow you to reset the settings if accidentally touched.
  4. Forced convection. An oven in an electric stove with this option has an integrated fan that improves the circulation of air masses and ensures uniform heating of the products.
  5. The POWER BOOST function increases the heating output by lowering it on adjacent burners.
  6. The infrared multi-grill carries out heating using a halogen diode, saves electricity consumption and preserves all useful elements and properties in the cooked products.
  7. Automatic boiling. In the presence of such a function, the unit increases the intensity until boiling, and then reduces the temperature.
  8. A special temperature probe, which is automatically inserted into the prepared dish to check for readiness.
  9. Scheme of settings for baking, which provides the ability to touch the desired mode with a finger.
  10. Protective functions for automatic shutdown in unforeseen situations, such as boiling over or falling onto the work surface of empty dishes.
