Kitchen 11.3 sq.m. combined with a balcony

The combination of the kitchen with the balcony made it possible to create a common space, which successfully housed not only a place for cooking and eating, but also a working corner. The angular layout helped save space, the predominance of white provided a visual increase in the room.

The frame-block house surrendered with a rough finish, so the repairs had to be done on their own. Work on the arrangement was carried out simultaneously in the entire apartment, financially it was quite expensive. But it was required to repair the housing as soon as possible, since replenishment was expected in the family. It was planned that a new family member will be brought to their own housing.

When arranging the kitchen, much attention is paid layout. The landlords planned to create such a design that this room was not only comfortable, but also beautiful. There is no separate living room in the apartment, so it was planned to receive guests in the kitchen.

Another question arose about the need for a working corner and an additional place to relax. Therefore, it was decided to combine the kitchen with a balcony, to use this small space to the maximum.

Having studied many options for creating the interior of a kitchen combined with a loggia, we decided that instead of a window opening you need to create an arch. This technique allowed to increase the total area of ​​the room. On one side of the balcony, a small-sized sofa was successfully placed, and on the other hand, it was possible to organize a workplace. In the course of work, the loggia was insulated, and a “warm floor” system was installed in the kitchen and balcony.

The walls in the kitchen were surprisingly smooth, so additional leveling of the surfaces was not required. We managed to putty the walls, carried out electrical wiring, installed sockets, closed the lower blocks with protective curtains. There is a conclusion for television in the kitchen, but so far they have not acquired a new TV. Watch his young family once.

The ceilings for such a house are quite high, this made it possible to install a drywall construction. 8 luminaires are mounted in the suspended ceilings around the perimeter, a pipe from the hood was successfully hidden under this design. In the middle of the ceiling, a socket is created from polyurethane moldings, in the middle of which a modern chandelier with organza shades is fixed.

Transitions on the ceiling are highlighted by the same elements. The surface is partially painted white, part of the ceiling is decorated with pink dawn paint. This design looks very original and fresh.

The walls and ceiling on the loggia are painted with the same paint. Pink at first glance seems pretentious. Its use allowed visually combining the rooms, making the atmosphere warm and cozy. It doesn’t press at all, moreover, the abundance of white flowers hides the brightness of pink, and it looks more gently, at home. Even on cold winter days, the kitchen has a pleasant, sunny atmosphere.

Corner layout allowed to successfully place a large refrigerator, which was purchased before the start of the repair. The family received a built-in oven, induction hob and dishwasher as a gift from relatives and friends. Knowing in advance the dimensions of the equipment, the apartment owners were able to order a kitchen set, which all modern devices very organically stood in. The microwave oven doesn’t fit in a bit in style, but in the future the family plans to replace it with a new unit suitable for design.

Choosing a kitchen, the family planned to purchase furniture from solid wood. But it costs a lot. In order to save money, the choice was stopped in the kitchen made of plastic. Classical strict facades are made in white, the relief surface resembles the texture of bleached pine, the color of the case is acacia. The edges are made of metallic PVC. The countertop and window sill are 3.8 cm thick in white. Drawers and cabinets are voluminous and deep, equipped with closers, which facilitates their use.

All repair materials were purchased in one hardware store, as there was no time left for searching and selecting. They bought beige-colored porcelain tile with an interesting pattern on the floor, laid it diagonally, this visually expanded the space. The working area is decorated with colored tiles, inserts with pictures on the kitchen theme are made.

Ash veneer doors, bleached oak. They look very simple and concise, there are frosted glass inserts that organically combine with the facades of the headset. Light wallpaper with a relief fit perfectly into the overall style, in texture and color, they perfectly resonate with the rest of the room.

Accessories are of simple design, metal handles are located horizontally. The sink has two bowls, a convenient faucet with a high spout and a filter for water purification are installed. Akpo's neat white hood over the hob complements the interior.

The dining group is represented by a folding table, which can accommodate up to 12 people, and chic chairs made of solid ash. The seats are upholstered in soft beige velor fabric. The entire kit was purchased at BRW.

The windows are thick roller blinds, on the walls hung paintings with views of Barcelona, ​​which remind of a good rest.

In the working area they put a table with a table lamp and an armchair. The place turned out to be very comfortable, the light from the window falls to the left, as expected. From the kitchen, this corner is almost invisible.

The cost of arranging a kitchen is difficult to name, since repairs were done simultaneously in the entire apartment. But most of the money was spent on the purchase of household appliances and furniture.

In the future, it is planned to sew short curtains on the windows of the loggia and covers for the chair and chairs. In the meantime, the chair-bed is covered with a white blanket. It took a little time to repair, all the work managed to be done before the birth of the baby.
