Repair in the apartment began with the transformation of the kitchen and the corridor. Then all the other rooms were gradually renovated one after another. There is still work to be done so that in the end everything works out as planned by the owners of the apartment.

Repair in the kitchen was carried out without resorting to the help of designers. Everything is thought out independently. At the same time, it was decided to make a small redevelopment, the purpose of which was to change the location of the entrance to the kitchen away from the toilet.

Upper cabinets are missing. This is conceived because the owners of the apartment are tall, and in order not to cling their heads to the open doors of wall cabinets, it was decided to abandon them altogether. There is enough space in the spacious kitchen for storing dishes and appliances. On the floor - laminate, on the walls - wallpaper. In this case, everything is done with your own hands.

In general, the kitchen is made in black and white color scheme. This solution is good because you can add any other shades to it for contrast and mood. For example, like here, a green tablecloth, flowers on a windowsill, a chalk board of a juicy green color.

Despite the fact that the owners do not have a special education in the field of design and decoration, the general view of the interior in the kitchen turned out to be very impressive. The main thing is the desire to do everything yourself so that it is pleasant to be in the apartment. No designer is able to take into account all the wishes. Such an intuitive approach helped transform the “family nest” taking into account the needs of the hostess. The selection of the necessary materials, consideration of the details - all this is a very fascinating activity, which the young spouses liked.

Of course, as in any repair, there were also certain difficulties associated with the change outlet locations, installing hoods and masking pipes in the kitchen.

Misunderstanding from close relatives also did not pass by. The lack of shelves in the kitchen, the colors chosen for the interior design, the decorative brick wall in the gas stove working area provoked a lot of questions. However, in addition to the fact that the wall looks very impressive, it also washes well.

During the repair, the task was not to succumb to the general trend "to fit all the colors of the rainbow in one room." Very often, before repairing a room, people watch a lot of TV shows dedicated to this topic, and then begin to "create". In this kitchen, all the accents are well thought out and built so that there is no multi-colored tastelessness in the same room.

However, the room has many interesting solutions. An unusual clock, a corner wall made of bricks, a door decorated with a black and white comic strip.

Furniture and textiles are mainly produced in Belarus. Very high quality and practical. Confidence in the manufacturer has only increased. Especially the landlady likes Belarusian textiles, which are pleasant and convenient to work with. She is self made curtains, decorated pillows and ottomans. Even handmade lampshades, with some items purchased in specialized stores.

The chairs are also covered in leatherette on their own. Before the transformation, they were rag. Initially, it was planned to cover them with skin, but it was not possible to choose the right color.

Some decorative elements were purchased at IKEA and TSUM.

In general, an interesting and unusual interior of the kitchen in a modern apartment turned out.
