- Trims, two 550 mm long and two more 314 mm long, they will be necessary for the sides.
- For fastening you need PVA glue and nails.
- For the legs you will need 4 strips 245 mm long.
- For the crossbars, you will need 2 slats 278 mm long. Drill and screwdriver.
- Sandpaper and varnish.
After you have prepared all the materials on the list, you can safely proceed to the next stage.
Step-by-step instruction
We make blanks. In order for the whole process to go quickly and easily, you must initially make blanks for the future product. From the furniture panel, cut a rectangle of the required size - this will be a countertop with dimensions of 600 by 400 mm. Sand all sides of the part with sandpaper.
Now you need to execute the limiters. For the front and rear sections, the size is 620 mm, for the side - 400 mm. With regard to height, it is more than the height of the countertop. Cut out the components of the box, these are four blanks. Make legs - these are four workpieces 245 mm long.
Installation of boards. After you complete all the workpieces, you can proceed to the stage of assembly of the structure. With the help of nails and a hammer, attach the sides to the countertop, they should protrude slightly above it. Drown the nails with a punch.
Box collection. At this stage, PVA glue will do. It is necessary to combine four workpieces into one design. To do this, coat the joints with glue and connect. If possible, clamp the parts together using clamps, leave to dry.
Gluing box. Align the box symmetrically on the back of your table. Glue with glue and also leave to dry well.
Fixing the legs. When all previously glued parts have dried out well, you can proceed to the stage of fixing the legs. To do this, it is necessary to make holes for fastening in four workpieces. Fastening to the box is carried out using screws.
IMPORTANT. The length of the screws should be no more than 35 mm, otherwise they may come out from the opposite side.
The final stage is the finish.
When your design is ready, you need to process it with sandpaper. Cover the table with varnish.
Decoration options
