Surface preparation

At the corners of the room, marks are made in accordance with future lighting fixtures. With the help of the level, it will be possible to establish the same distance from the floor, which will make the stretch canvas perfectly horizontal.

Fastening the baguette

A thread is pulled along the walls along the set marks. A straight line is obtained on the surface. According to the drawn line (at a distance of 10 cm from each other), holes are drilled, then the baguette is attached. At the corners of the room, it is sawn with an ordinary hacksaw. This will allow you to get an even joint. The baguette is fastened with screws.

Installation of the canvas

The installation of the fabric should be started from the middle of the wall surface. Initially, the material is loaded into the profile using a spatula, after which the tool is removed. Further the canvas is installed in the corners, gradually covering the entire ceiling. When the fabric is stretched and aligned, the excess fabric sticking out of the profile is trimmed using a clerical knife. After that, small allowances are tucked in.

Attaching the masking tape

The skirting board is necessary to hide the gaps formed during installation. The decoration of the desired color is selected, after which it is inserted inside with a light press. The process does not involve the use of glue or tools, which allows you to replace it if necessary.
