A kebab made on charcoal is much more interesting to use than the same meat from a frying pan. And if also in good company, then generally feast for the eyes. One problem - while everyone is pouring and treating themselves, one chef is constantly at the barbecue and misses the most interesting. Is there a solution? Of course - this is an electric grill. By the way, the meat on it is fried more evenly than with even the most vigilant control of the process. This miracle of mechanization will be discussed today.

Materials and tools
To assemble a simple, but very useful device, you will not need so much of everything:
- electric motor with a power source, similar to that used to operate the wipers on a car;
- eight bolts and stars bike-like (preferably the same size) with sixteen nuts;
- bike chain;
- a piece of a shaped pipe as the basis for the drive;
- a pair of metal plates for attaching the drive structure to the brazier;
- the brazier itself.
From the tool, you will need a drill with drills for metal, a grinder, cutting discs, a welding machine, a hacksaw for metal may come in handy.
Assembling the actuator
The first thing to do is grooves for skewers at the ends of the bolts. To do this, holding a bolt in a vise, on the opposite end of its head we make a cut with a hacksaw for metal with a depth of 8-10 millimeters. Those who are more secure can do it with the help of a grinder. The main thing is not to spoil the thread, two more nuts will have to be screwed onto the bolt.
So one by one we make grooves on all bolts. Further, in the profile pipe, we drill eight through holes of the corresponding diameter for the bolts. We measure the distance between them so that the skewers on which the meat will be strung do not cling to each other when rotating.
We put an asterisk on the bolt, screw on the nut, then thread it through the hole in the profile pipe. We screw on the second nut, so that it overlaps the cut in the bolt and holds the skewer in the resulting nest when rotating. We choose the length of the bolts in such a way that the entire structure can be tightened with nuts to the professional pipe, and the ends with the cuts do not protrude too much.

Using metal plates, we weld the profile pipe to the side of the barbecue. You can also make a collapsible structure using all the same bolts. On the opposite side of the brazier, exactly opposite the bolts, at the same distance we weld metal rings or large washers with large holes for holding the skewers and with cuts on top (so that the skewer is conveniently placed in the bed, and not threaded into the ring).
Unit test
We put the bicycle chain on the sprockets and on the electric motor shaft. We supply power to it and see how the "shaitan machine" works. The speed of revolutions can be adjustedby connecting a rheostat to the circuit and rotating its handle. If everything suits the work of the resulting design, then what are we waiting for? I hope the meat is already marinated. We kindle a fire, wait for the coals... However, what to teach you?
Some complain, they say, if you compare the kebab prepared in this way with that prepared on a regular grill - the taste is not the same. I report to you - this is complete nonsense. The difference in taste can only be because the meat is fried evenly, and not burnt on the one hand, and raw on the other. There is someone who likes it. The only drawback of the resulting device is the mandatory presence of a power source for its operation.
