It takes ~ 1 minute to readI would like to share a master class on how to make a soaring cup called "Flower Waterfall". Today, this type of topiary is more popular than ever because of its original idea and wonderful appearance. Our composition turned out to be very romantic and gentle.
You will need:
- Cup and saucer;
- Glue gun;
- Pliers;
- Aluminum plug;
- Decor elements;
- Artificial flowers.
- Recently, in my kitchen, I found a very beautiful little white cup and saucer from some very old grandmother's set - very beautiful, delicate, with a gold border.
- I thought: "Why not make some kind of craft out of it?" On the Internet, I have seen different versions of floating cups for a long time. But with such a cup I wanted to use the floral theme. First of all, we need an aluminum plug.
- Aluminum is a very soft material, which is good as we have to bend the fork with pliers. This will be the leg that will hold our cup.
- If you don't have an aluminum plug, you can use a wire. But then you need several layers of it (depending on the thickness). I take a regular fork, bend it with pliers and attach it to the cup. We need artificial flowers. I use small roses.
- We select colors that will be beautifully combined: these are pink, blue, white, purple, as well as a few leaves.
- For work, you will definitely need a glue gun and several sticks of glue, since we need to fix all the details of our craft very well.
- So, we attached the fork and the first thing we need to do is mask it with leaves.
- We glue the green leaves on the bottom of the cup, on the fork and on the saucer.
- Thus, we fix the fork and create a base for the flowers.
- An original accent can be a small bow made of satin silk thin ribbon. I picked up a ribbon in a delicate beige shade and tie it on the ear of the cup.All that remains for us is to glue the roses.
- As our craft is called "Flower Waterfall" and this flower waterfall pours from a cup on our saucer - roses need to be glued both inside the cup and over the entire surface of the leaves, and on saucer.Our floating cup turned out to be very delicate and romantic.
