The central place in the decorative design of the kitchen is occupied by curtains. After all, externally, muslin looks so fragile and delicate that one gets the impression of the need for a special approach to its operation. In fact, muslin curtains are even easier to maintain properly than traditional window curtains.

It is not often required to wash the muslin, but when the crucial moment nevertheless comes, it must be carefully removed from the eaves and roll up with a tourniquet or braid into a braid, which additionally needs to be wrapped in several places. The curtains prepared in this way are placed in a special net for washing or a nylon linen bag. If this is not done, it will be quite difficult to bring the tangled threads back to their original form. Then they are washed in a machine on the "Delicate wash" mode with the usual powder.

You can also wash them by hand. To do this, rolled muslin is soaked in soapy water for 10 minutes, after which it is thoroughly rinsed without twisting and push-ups. The washed threads in a wet state, unwoven, are hung on the cornice and only after that they are carefully unraveled. The muslin does not need to be ironed with an iron - it will straighten under its own weight, and after drying it will look like new.
