What utensils to use in an air grill?
Many owners of this appliance choose dishes, focusing on the capacity for the microwave, but in aerogrill temperature reaches 280 ° C, so use a container with low heat resistance prohibited. Completely refuse plastic and wooden utensils.
An equally important role in choosing dishes is what dish you are going to cook:
- To bake vegetables with meat or make soup, you will need ceramic pots.
- For frying meat, glass containers are selected.

Aluminum and heat-resistant glass have the highest thermal conductivity, therefore, in such dishes, products will cook much faster. But if you stew or bake food in clay pots, you will have to be patient, as it will take a lot of time to cook due to the low thermal conductivity of the material.
- Of great importance is the thickness of the walls of the dishes. Want to get fried pieces with a golden brown crust, cook them in a thin-walled container. More juicy dishes will turn out in thick-walled dishes, but more time will be required for their preparation.
- Capacities should not exceed 25 cm in diameter, otherwise the heat fluxes inside the device will spread unevenly, which will not affect the readiness of the dish in the best way. It will either be baked or overcooked.
Grilling meat dishes
For cooking meatballs, baked meat, ribs, steaks or chops, you will need wire racks, trays, skewers and foil.
Barbecue
The meat is first pickled according to your favorite recipe. The main thing is to cut the meat into pieces so that they can be placed on skewers. How to cook chicken in an aerogrill?
You must choose a whole chicken carcass weighing 1300-1700 g, which is prepared as follows:
- To make the chicken evenly baked, make several cuts along the breast.
- While the appliance is warming up, the chicken is rubbed with salt, pepper and spices. For this dish you will need a minimum number of seasonings at your discretion.
- In the tray where the carcass will be baked, you can add light beer to make the meat more tender and juicy.
- Chicken is placed on a medium-sized grill, breast up and baked at a temperature of 250 ° C and a high fan speed.
- 10 minutes before the end, reduce the fan speed to medium.
In total, the dish is cooked for about 35–45 minutes. An indicator of the readiness of the dish will be a clear liquid flowing out of the chicken after punctures with a sharp knife or a toothpick - if a pinkish liquid flows out, then the carcass is cooked for a few more minutes. No need to turn the chicken over.

How to cook fish in air grill?
The fish in an air grill is grilled, baked in foil or cooked in batter.
Fish in foil
For cooking in foil, fish of not very fatty varieties is chosen. Marinate the fish fillet or rub with spices, spread it in foil and cover with an envelope. Place it on the upper wire rack and bake at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes.

How to cook potatoes in an air grill?
Fans of fried potatoes may not worry about their health - in the air grill it is prepared with a minimum amount of vegetable oil, which favorably affects the level of cholesterol in the blood. In addition, there are various delicious recipes:
- Rustic. Potatoes are peeled and cut into circles. Spread in a deep container, salt, pepper and sprinkle with garlic - mix everything well, leave for 5 minutes. The lattice is greased with vegetable oil and spread potatoes on it. Cook for 25 minutes at a temperature of 250 ° C.
- Baked. Young potatoes are thoroughly washed and cut into 2 or 4 parts. Soak it in saline for 15 minutes. Lay the potatoes on a wire rack, sprinkle it with vegetable oil and bake at 220 ° C for about 30 minutes.
- Fried. Wash potatoes, peel and cut into slices. In a deep container, vegetable oil, herbs, spices, salt are mixed and chopped potatoes are added. Leave everything for 20 minutes so that the slices of the vegetable are marinated. Next, they are laid out on the lower grill and cooked for 35 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C and an average fan speed.
- In the "uniform". This is one of the fastest ways to make a side dish. The potatoes are thoroughly washed, several punctures are made in each potato and spread whole in a deep bowl. Sprinkle it with spices, vegetable oil and salt, leave for 30 minutes. Then they are laid out on a wire rack and cooked at a high blowing speed and a temperature of 260 ° C.
French fries may be useful if cooked in an aerogrill according to this recipe:
- Wash the potatoes, peel and cut them into even bars, dry them with a paper towel or a cotton towel.
- In a deep container, potatoes are mixed with salt and spices, then vegetable oil is added (3 tablespoons are sufficient for 1 kg of tubers) and again mixed well.
- In the hot air grill, the “Warm-up” function is selected and the appliance is heated for 6 minutes.
- Potatoes are spread on a mesh baking sheet and placed on the middle wire rack. The dish is cooked for about 20 minutes (time varies from the thickness of the tuber blocks) at 235 ° C and the average fan speed.

How to cook hot dogs in an aerogrill?
In addition to ordinary dishes, it also serves dishes from different cuisines of the world. For example, kupaty. This is a Georgian meat dish, which is prepared from minced meat of fatty varieties with the addition of garlic and a large number of spices - allspice, pomegranate seeds, berries, barberry, coriander, caraway seeds and thyme. Tuck it into the shell from the intestines and form in the form of sausages.
In order for the kupat to turn out juicy and with a light, appetizing and crispy crust, they are not easy to bake in the air grill (in this case they can turn out dry), and they are fried and stewed in pots.
Raw sausages are first fried on a medium grill pre-oiled with vegetable oil at a high fan speed and a temperature of 250 ° C. To prevent them from bursting, small punctures are made at the ends to release steam. Depending on the degree of frying, it will take 15–20 minutes. As soon as the sausages are browned, they are transferred to a pot, chopped garlic, tomato paste, salt and spices are added to your taste. Air grill vegetable recipe
There are many ways to cook a delicious vegetable dish in an air grill. For example, eggplant and zucchini lovers can choose the following recipe:
- Wash the squash and eggplant and cut into rings with a thickness of 0.3 cm.
- Cook the spicy sauce - mix for 3-4 hours. l olive oil and 1 hour l balsamic vinegar, squeeze one clove of garlic, add Italian herbs, salt, pepper and mix.
