In this case, the presence of one or more strong stumps is quite justified, but we must remember that they also need to be treated with special compounds that protect wood from bark beetles and other pests.

Ways to destroy stumps and root system

The physical method requires not only expenditure of strength, but also the ability to uproot stumps. Not every gardener wants to tinker with the remains of trees in this way, it is much easier to destroy them using chemistry or burn them out.

Burning out will require some equipment and a flammable substance. The disadvantage of this method is the incomplete destruction of the root system.

The chemical method of destroying the root system and the remainder of the stump is considered the most simple and universal at the same time. Conventional sodium nitrate or potassium sodium is suitable; both substances are strong oxidizing agents. Once in organic areas, the substance burns out not only the hemp base, but also the rhizome, which allows you to completely clean the area.

How to get stumps using saltpeter

You will need a regular electric or hand drill with the longest and thickest drill. At the base of the stump, several holes need to be drilled, prepared saltpeter is poured into them and a small amount of water is poured. From time to time, you can add the substance, simultaneously adding water. Gradually, the wood begins to dry out and becomes a trash, this says that organic matter burns out under the influence of an oxidizing agent. The next year, it is advisable to completely remove stump particles, while removing a small layer of soil in which it was located.

In order not to mess with the trash, you can blur the rest of the stump with ordinary kerosene or gasoline, watering them with particles, followed by burning. It is advisable to evacuate the remains of ash from the site.
