What is the best paint for PVC panels?

Sometimes it happens that you need to paint white PVC parts. For example, plastic windows and doors I want to make one tone with the interior or to strengthen the protection of panels from the damaging factors of the external environment.

Plain paint is not suitable for these cases. Oil paints will not adhere well to plastic and simply peel off, and various enamels are quite aggressive and can damage the PVC material. For panels you need a special paint with special properties.

There are over 2000 shades of paint. But the possibility of independent tinting is also allowed. In addition to standard colors, there are compositions with sparkles, peralmutrovye paint and metallic. Painting with this composition allows you to achieve original textured effects.

You can paint pre-cleaned panels with a spray gun. The paint from the can is mixed well, color is added, if necessary, and poured into the spray bottle. The paint is applied evenly with a thin layer on the entire surface. After two hours, it already sets, and completely dries out after two days.

If the task is to paint several PVC panels, then you can take a regular aerosol can. It easily penetrates into inaccessible places and stains small elements in the corners and at the joints.

Acrylic based paints designed specifically for PVC, hold well on panels. To enhance protection, they are coated with water-based glossy varnish. The varnished product will also shine.

Paints based on polyurethane acrylic have only one drawback - they are quite expensive. But this is offset by low material consumption and a long service life without the need for annual tinting. So the costs are paying off.
