A fairly common problem is the lack of water supply in a private residential building. Unlike apartments in which water is supplied through a centralized water supply, residents of individual buildings are most often forced to provide water independently. Consider how to organize water supply at home in the absence of a water supply.

Regardless of the selected source, any system should be equipped with: a pump, filters, water heating equipment and sewage.
When implementing autonomous water supply, first of all, it is necessary to determine the source from which water will be supplied and to carry out its arrangement. Among the most common sources are the following:
- Artesian well;
- Well "in the sand";
- Well;
- Abyssinian well.
An artesian well allows you to extract water from great depths, which sometimes reaches 150 meters, which significantly affects its excellent quality. Another advantage of the source is unlimited stocks. The service life of the source can reach 50 years.

To the extent that artesian water is a strategic source of the state, such a well is subject to mandatory registration.
The method of making a well "on sand" involves the extraction of water from inter-reservoir sources. Before you start drilling a well, you must first take a water sample to obtain an opinion on the quality of the soil and the depth of occurrence. This will make sure that the water is clean and suitable for use. Only then can a well be drilled and strengthened with pipes. The bottom of the well is laid with gravel, which protects the pump from clogging with sand.

Rare use of the well contributes to the accumulation of sludge. It is recommended that the water be pumped periodically so that the pumping device does not become clogged.
As a rule, a well “on sand” has a depth of about 40 meters and can last up to 10 years. It is characterized by ease of drilling and a small excavation.

The arrangement of the well also requires a preliminary sampling to obtain an opinion on the quality of the soil and the depth of the water. Practice shows that most people neglect this stage. This is a big mistake, as a result of which, after digging a well, it is often found out that the water obtained is not suitable for use.

Finishing a well shaft is most often carried out using reinforced concrete rings, bricks, rubble stone or processed logs.
Abyssinian well is the easiest and cheapest way to get water. It is realized by clogging the well-needle and installing the pump. The water produced in this way is notable for its cleanliness, and the well is leakproof, easy to drill and lasts for a long time. On average, the life of an Abyssinian well is about 30 years.

For the implementation of independent water supply, the above effective and proven methods of water production are most often used. The type of soil, core productivity, and the depth at which water lies affect the choice of source.
