It is far from always to apply paint with a brush convenient and practical. Sometimes it is much easier and faster to use a spray can of paint and quickly apply it to the surface. In this case, the quality of painting will be better. However, not everything is so simple here - when painting from a spray can it is very easy to prevent the appearance of smudges that will spoil the appearance of the painted surface. How to master the technique of painting from a spray can without smudges - read below.

Choosing the right paint
Depending on what surface you want to paint, you need to choose the right paint:
- Enamel - well suited for metal surfaces. From spray cans it is very convenient to paint auto-moto equipment and other metal surfaces with enamel. Most often used as a coating before applying varnish.
- Matte paint - universal, suitable for almost all surfaces.
- Paint for application on plastic surfaces - the spectrum of use is clear from their name.
- Heat-resistant paint - used for painting silencers for cars, motorcycles, radiators, all kinds of heaters, stove stoves, etc.

Painting process
There is nothing complicated in working with the spray can, you just need to adhere to a few simple rules:
- Before painting, the contents of the container are thoroughly mixed for at least half a minute;
- Do not bring the can too close to the surface to be painted. The optimal distance should be at least 20 cm;
- You can not immediately apply a thick layer of paint - smudges in this case are almost inevitable. Paint should be applied slowly, in 2, or even 3 layers;
- Particular attention is required to paint the internal and external corners, various kinds of bulges and indentations - it is easiest to make a mistake here.

After applying the first layer, the surface may look unattractive, painted unevenly. It's okay - after about 10-15 minutes, you can apply a second coat. This time is enough for the first coat of paint to dry out sufficiently.
In order for the paint to lie well on the surface, it must be prepared. To ensure good adhesion, the surface can be lightly scrubbed with sandpaper with a grain size of approximately 180-220.

It is recommended to work with aerosol cans in the fresh air or in a well-ventilated area. If you have to work on the street, you need to make sure that street dust and debris do not get on the painted surface until completely dry.
