Due to the excellent moisture resistance of this material, it is absolutely realistic to wash it even with a completely unpressed rag, however, to preserve the proper qualities of linoleum, it is nevertheless most desirable to apply only exclusively semi-dry "instruments".

In the process of washing linoleum, it is quite possible to do without the additional use of any special detergents compositions which, in a similar situation, are usually used only if there are very significant on such coatings pollution. As for the frequency of such wet cleanings, they are usually carried out about once a week in the case of such material.

How to prevent dents on linoleum

Despite the fact that such a coating seems very dense, dents may well form on it over time.

To prevent their occurrence, it is recommended to lay special underlays made, for example, of rubber or felt, under the legs of sufficiently massive pieces of furniture. In addition, in the case of linoleum, it is also highly desirable to minimize walking on it in shoes with fairly thin heels.

How to protect linoleum coating from moisture

Linoleum itself, of course, is a fairly moisture-resistant material, however, when it is used when upgrading the floor several individual paintings, then between them, of course, seams will form, from which, of course, it will be necessary get rid. This problem is solved in a similar situation, most often by additional gluing of joints, or through the use of special cold welding.

How to remove stubborn dirt

In the event that non-laundering contaminants nevertheless appear on such a coating, then, to remove them, you can try to use hydrogen peroxide or diluted turpentine.

 It is extremely undesirable to use more concentrated formulations here, since they may well cause the appearance of bald spots on linoleum.
