Lifting models have two types of design solutions. In the first - the rise of the base is due to the spring blocks, and in the second - with the help of gas shock absorbers. The second type is considered to be more perfect, as it provides better strength of the product, and also reliably fixes the upper part of the bed in a raised position.

Spring units are simpler than a gas lift. By doing so, they significantly reduce the cost of the mechanism, which, in turn, affects the final cost of the finished bed. But the springs wear out faster, which affects the ability to reliably fix the base when lifting.
