The main advantage of the plunger mount is the ability to easily mount and dismantle mosquito nets. It is worth noting the high reliability of such fasteners, manifested in the fact that it is difficult to remove or lose the mesh with it in case of strong gusts of wind.
Plunger mounts are most relevant for rooms located on the ground floor of buildings. On the good side, it showed itself when used on barred windows.
The third installation option is the use of Z-shaped corners. Distinguish between metal and plastic fasteners.
Corners made of plastic are not very resistant to weathering, and besides, they break quite quickly. Much more reliable are metal products, which, by the way, are the only fasteners that do not require drilling holes for installation.
For wooden windows, three main methods of installing mosquito nets are also used.
The first method is the use of “flags”, which, as mentioned above, are also used on plastic windows.
The second method involves the use of the above-mentioned metal Z-shaped corners, which are installed directly on the grid frame.
The third option involves the use of roller shutter type mosquito nets. These are user-friendly designs that fold and unfold easily. True, the price of such mosquito nets is twice as much as the price of their usual counterparts.
