Cement is very firmly set and after that it is very difficult to wipe from surfaces on which it should not be. It is also very difficult to remove the stains that this solution leaves. How can you remove dried cement?

Solvents
The easiest way to wash cement is with special solvents, they can be purchased at any hardware store. The main thing is that the composition includes protective components from the action of acids, which can corrode not only cement, but also a new coating.

When spraying the solvent, the cement begins to foam, it acts acid. In this way, glass, plastic, pavers and various floor coverings are cleaned.

Any cement solvent has the following characteristics:
- It is safe for most surfaces and can be used even indoors. The solvent does not evaporate and does not emit toxic substances into the air;
- Cement solvents are not flammable;
- The acid in the composition acts destructively only on cement, while the coatings remain intact;
- The cement remover is safe for the respiratory tract, even when working without a respirator.

The solvent can be bought in two forms: ready-made and concentrated solution, which is diluted independently. Concentrates can be used undiluted to remove old and large drops of cement. To wash fresh spots, usually dilute the composition with water in a ratio of 1: 5. The solvent can change the color of the surface, so before starting work, you need to check its effect on subtle areas of the room.

Rules for working with solvents:
- To facilitate the process of dissolving cement, for a start it is necessary to remove all construction debris from the room and vacuum the surfaces;
- The solvent can be applied in two ways: using a wide brush or through a spray gun;
- Next, the necessary time is waited for the composition to corrode concrete;
- After the slurry of cement and solvent is washed off with a high pressure of water. To remove residues, you can use a brush and sponge;
- If the cement has not completely departed from the treated area, then the procedure is repeated.

Folk methods
If there are no special solutions at hand, you can use folk recipes, the ingredients of which are in every home.
The most effective task is the vinegar essence, which is first abundantly moistened with the cement surface, and then it is covered with a layer of soda. After the corroded composition is scrubbed with a brush. With a poor primary result, the procedure is repeated.

You can also use acetone if the cement got on the textile: curtains or carpets. For this, a cotton cloth is taken, wetted abundantly in acetone and applied to the site of contamination. It is necessary to wait half an hour.
