If the sewer socket and the toilet drain are located on the same axis, they are connected using a transition cuff. If the toilet is installed at an angle to the sewer, use a corrugated cuff.
The toilet is placed at the intended installation location and is surrounded by a marker, marking the mounting points of the fixtures. Having moved the toilet to the side, holes are drilled in the floor and plastic dowels are installed in them for fixing bolts. Further, a shock-absorbing pad, which is usually sold complete with a toilet bowl, is laid on the floor. If it is not, a piece of linoleum or rubber can be used as a gasket, neatly cut to fit the bottom of the toilet.
Once the toilet is in place, it is secured with the included bolts with plastic or silicone washers. Tighten them moderately, otherwise you can crack faience. Then the bowl is connected to the sewer and the drain tank is attached. On both sides of the sealing cuff between the tank and the toilet, sealant is applied. Next, connect a flexible eyeliner. Threaded connections for tightness are wrapped with FUM tape or coated with sealant.
There are still ways to quickly install a toilet. For example, calling a plumber or inviting a friend who has the skills to do this.
