The most important minus is that usually private houses are located outside the urban area. Therefore, those who work in the office need to get up a couple of hours earlier every morning. In the evening, the road to the house is stretched due to traffic jams and long distances. As a result, there is practically no free time on weekdays.

The large area of ​​the house is difficult for one person to clean. Most often, cleaning services are invited to cottages or a housekeeper is hired. The distance problem is relevant in this case, too, because traveling outside the city is paid separately.

Intercity roads are still not of high quality. If you go by car every day there and back, then after a couple of months the wheels or suspension will require replacement.

House territory

Together with a private house, a land plot is attached, which needs at least minimal care so that the whole territory is not covered by weeds. To do this, you need to devote separate time and effort.

Every year, in spring and autumn, the site will have to be cleaned from fallen and beautiful leaves and other debris. Even if the entire territory is planted with a lawn, it requires periodic cutting and care.

In the winter season, cottage owners are forced to start every morning with raking snow. This is a rather complicated physical process. Garbage disposal also falls on the shoulders of the owners, firms in some villages have to pay for services from above.

Financial part

The contents of a country house are much more expensive than apartments. Initially, even an average house costs more when buying than an apartment. Further, any breakdowns in the systems, roof or walls fall on the shoulders of the owners. The private house is not served by management companies that solve all financial issues.

Expenses in a private house include the purchase of a variety of equipment that is not needed in the apartment. For example, a lawn mower, gas boiler, irrigation systems, additional street lighting, a water pump, garden supplies. Also in your house with a higher probability you will have to equip your own well. It is worth considering the annual tax on land and real estate.
