Is an electric cleaning brush effective?

The time has passed when the hostess had only an ordinary rag and a wooden mop with a broom for cleaning. Now the shops offer an extensive assortment of modernized models of mops, brushes and brooms, which are designed to facilitate the work of the housewife in cleaning the apartment.

Recently, electric models have been in great demand, which promise to simplify the cleaning process and minimize the necessary effort. However, each of the models has not only its own advertised advantages, but also often a number of inconveniences and disadvantages that consumers note.

The simplest option is the so-called electric broom or electric brush. Manufacturers conceived that this machine can even replace a vacuum cleaner due to the fact that it has rotating brushes that rake the garbage into a special removable container. The mechanism of the device is charged from the network and is able to clean up garbage even in the most inaccessible places. At the same time, it consumes a little electricity and creates very little noise. In fact, this is a rather low-power device, which is hardly able to rid the floor of dust or small debris. Special attention is paid to an electric brush with a built-in steam generator. It is really capable of treating the surface with a jet of hot steam, which ensures disinfection. However, if this is not a necessary effect, you should not spend money on it. And the contactless ironing of curtains and clothes declared in advertising is not actually realized due to the insignificant power of the device.

Another variation of the electric mop - a mini-vacuum cleaner is only suitable for cleaning in a car, because its charge lasts a maximum of 15 minutes of autonomous cleaning. Recently, there have been widely publicized electric mops, which are a rope rag for wet cleaning, which can be wrung out in a special bucket with a rotating drum. In fact, it turns out that the mechanism is very unreliable, it quickly fails, the spin quality also does not suit all owners of this device. In addition, the charge of this mechanism for autonomous extraction is enough for only 8 presses.

Of course, among the electrobrushes can be noted decent specimens. These include, for example, k55 Plus from the German manufacturer Karcher. This brush is equipped with a removable battery and has a separate brush that can remove dog hair. At the same time, the unit has a fairly affordable price of only about 5.500 thousand rubles.

Nevertheless, experience shows that in most cases the purchase of electric brushes is much more trouble and troubles than using a standard flounder, which does not require special maintenance and frequent repair.
