At the end of 2016, we received our own housing. We have been waiting for this present for the New Year for a long time, and we had to spend a lot of time on the renovation of the newly acquired apartment. I would like to share how we furnished the most important area of our apartment - the kitchen. It is small, only 7 square meters, but they did not expand the area.

The renovation was started all over the apartment at once. We prepared the surfaces, leveled the walls, and made a screed on the floor. After carrying out the rough work, they took up the electrician, installed all the plumbing fixtures.
Then it came to the kitchen, because I spend a lot of time cooking, in the morning and in the evenings. we gather here with the whole family to eat and discuss pressing matters, often friends come to us at Cup of tea.
We have a good layout, and we settled on a corner version of the kitchen set. We chose the color almost immediately, we wanted soft tones to make it pleasant to relax. Light shades also make it possible to visually make the room larger and lighter.
In addition, the window overlooks the balcony, and there is not enough light, so white colors, after all, were the best suited for this particular room. Glossy facades also supported the concept of light space.
For the design of the apron, we chose porcelain stoneware tiles to match the color of the countertop, and we got a very organic picture. In size, it matches perfectly with the laminate flooring.
When choosing a material for decorating the floor, they abandoned ceramic tiles right away. It seems to me that it is too cold. At first glance, laminate flooring is not a very practical solution, but the moisture-resistant option is very suitable for such a room. The rest of the rooms in the apartment were also lined with laminate, similar in style to the interior design in the kitchen.
It took a long time to choose wallpaper on the wall. There are a lot of materials, but something always stopped me or my husband. Finally, after we toured almost all the hardware stores in the city, we came across a great option. These wallpapers are the perfect combination of tenderness, tranquility and vibrant floral prints that refresh the environment. Directly what we needed.
The lighting was made point-like along the perimeter on a suspended two-level plasterboard ceiling. The classic version, and there was enough natural light in the kitchen. We are also planning to add lighting to the work surface to make it easier to cook.
We bought all the equipment from a domestic manufacturer, and it paid off. The hob, oven, refrigerator - they were all purchased in Minsk. The only exception is the imported hood, which is powerful and, most importantly, silent.
Sink to match the white facades, made of artificial stone. An excellent material for such products. It goes well with a bronze faucet that combines the role of a water filter. A convenient solution, considering that you can get both running and filtered water from one tap.
The window was decorated with curtains; it was successfully possible to select finished products that were suitable in design and color. I really thought that I would have to sew custom-made curtains, which would have cost more, of course.
The dining group - a folding table and chairs, we got for the action. In the near future, we plan to hang a chandelier, install a TV set on a wall free of cupboards, and purchase chairs with backs.
The arrangement of the kitchen cost us a little more than 100.0 thousand rubles. Naturally, most of the money was spent on furniture and appliances. I really like the result we got. The white color in the kitchen is just enough so that the room does not look like a hospital room.
The absence of excessive decor allows you to turn around, and, if you wish, add bright details, transforming and changing the room according to your mood. Simplicity and calm shades in the interior give a feeling of peace, comfort, warmth.
