Classic white penthouse kitchen combined with living room

My husband and I bought a spacious and truly luxurious penthouse on the Vyborg highway, because we wanted to live in comfort and have a bird's eye view of the metropolis. Of course, before moving, I had to spend a lot of effort to think over the "stuffing" of the kitchen (total area with a living room 35 sq. M, kitchen area 20 sq. M). Finishing materials were discussed for a long time and with controversy. But there was no disagreement with the choice of furniture: my husband completely entrusted me with the design and choice of a headset.

I have always dreamed of a spacious kitchen, where there are many functional surfaces, and the area of ​​the room allows you to zone the space into the work and guest areas. And for myself, I decided that the kitchen set must be of a light shade and made of natural wood. As for the style, I may be conservative, but I think that classic furniture looks the most effective.

In general, I visited more than one furniture center until I saw this kitchen. To say that I fell in love with her at first sight is to say nothing. I immediately mentally "entered" it into the room, and did not begin to consider other options.

The classic L-shape allows you to optimize the space and most conveniently position the "working triangle", which includes the refrigerator, sink and hob.

Of course, I have carefully studied the other characteristics of this headset:

• kitchen facades are made of high-quality and durable solid ash;
• the body of the furniture is made of furniture board, also from solid wood and covered with enamel;
• used very high quality and comfortable fittings "BLUM" of Austrian production, as well as Italian "INOXA";
• the countertop, as well as the work surface of the wall made of natural stone, shading the white facades;
• all technology is built into the facades, so there is no visual dissonance.

For convenience, a spotlight is installed in the work surfaces, which turns into a bright decorative element in the evening. This makes the space seem wider.

Well, if we talk about the appearance of the kitchen set as a whole, then it looks just gorgeous - a real classic in the "baroque" style. The facades are covered with enamel, gold patina was used in the decoration. The craftsmen used exquisite carving with gold enamel in the decor. The original gold ceiling cornice and elements that imitate columns look incredibly impressive.

Above the hob and oven there is a central element that unites all the furniture - a large cabinet with ornaments, carvings and gilding. It resembles a fireplace, an integral part of classic interiors.

This furniture has been matched with a sink and taps that are appropriate in style, reminiscent of antique ones, as well as additional sockets that match the color. The result is a very harmonious ensemble.

The kitchen set is very spacious, it has enough drawers and hinged cabinets. The designer has thought through everything to the smallest detail: the necessary items, food and kitchen utensils are always at hand.

Of course, such a luxurious suite obliged us to carefully choose the finishing materials and furniture for this room. But since the sections were the central and eye-catching element, we opted for neutral sand-colored porcelain stoneware for the floor. But the dining room furniture was bought in white, but also in a classic style.

As a result, the interior turned out to be very harmonious, and I still think that our choice was the most successful.
