- For our craft, we need any knitting thread. If you knit, you probably have some unnecessary balls of thread that are not very convenient to knit and have been waiting for their use for a long time. It was just such a ball of bouclé thread that lay on my shelf. We are preparing the threads and our can.
- I also had a gnome figurine, which is usually used to decorate flower pots. I also decided to use it in my craft.
- We will definitely prepare a glue gun, because it is on the hot glue that we will attach all the details of our craft.
- We take the jar, attach the tip of the thread to hot glue and begin to wrap the thread around the jar, picking it up with hot glue. In order to prevent the thread from slipping and sliding out, we wind it very tightly and neatly.
- When you have wound a certain amount of thread - tweak a little with your fingers and pull it up so that such a thick "rug" is created. We finish wrapping and also carefully fix the other end with glue.
- Our jar has taken on a completely different look, but of course it lacks some decorations. I decided not to use many elements. The sunflower itself is a very beautiful flower and that is just enough.
- We attach it to the center of our jar. Also on hot glue with glue of our gnome, who seems to want to climb in and look into our jar.
- The fake has an incomplete look, so I will also use the braid with which I will decorate the bottom and top of the can.
- We glue the braid in a circle at the bottom and then on top.
- Our jar is large enough and can be used for cereals or something loose, since it has a lid.
- But I made it in order to hold spatulas, whisks and other kitchen utensils in it. I did it, I hope you can do it too.
