Industrial blue kitchen made of solid ash, 10 sq. m

We are a young family living in a new building in St. Petersburg. The classics are not attractive, I wanted a bright modern interior of an industrial style. We have successfully implemented this idea in the L-shaped kitchen "Milan Jeans".

The kitchen is made in the company:

Blue loft style kitchen

Our kitchen is a great example of how you can create a loft-style interior in a small space and make it cozy. Headset size - 2905 x 2080 mm (area 10 sq. m), but the room does not seem cramped and full. The kitchen looks creative, and without a lot of accessories, only due to the contrast of textures.

Cabinet cases are made of laminated chipboard Alternative (Russia), color - white Scandinavian. The lower blue facades are made of solid ash wood made in Italy.

Upper ones - from Egger (Germany), color - white alpine. Our interior combines seemingly impossible things - warm wood and a rough brick wall. There is lighting under the upper sections, which makes the room even more extravagant.

Contrasting loft-style interior

There are many open shelves in the kitchen that act as a substitute for mezzanines.

Although we placed the dishwasher inside the lower cabinets, other household appliances (microwave oven, extractor hood) are in the public domain. This is also part of the style.

An important accessory in our kitchen is the wall panel rail system, which houses the mobile hooks, shelves and knife holder. It has become the central element of the interior, incredibly functional and organically blended into the environment.

Top in matt laminate, structured to match the wood grain with color-matched edging, manufacturer - Odyssey. The matte laminate continues onto the backsplash and then onto the floor. The idea itself is quite unusual for the kitchen, but the loft style is a combination of the incompatible.

Solid ash facades are one of the hardest and heaviest, on a par with oak. Therefore, it was necessary to choose reliable fittings that would work without failures. It was the Austrian company Blum. The Aventos HF top lift system folds in the middle with telescopic arms and lift mechanisms for a quiet and gentle movement.

There is also wood inside the cabinets. There is a special compartment for knives, which is a slot in a wooden box. The knives are securely fixed, do not dull, and the wood absorbs moisture well. Wood inside the boxes is a good idea. It is an environmentally friendly and harmless material that excludes the impact of harmful substances on humans.
