Cup decor with bitmap (via stencil)

How to make an ordinary nondescript cup original and unusual? In my kitchen, there was just such a cup on which there was nothing but an inscription. I decided to decorate it with nail polish, turning it into a pretty interesting dish using a stencil!

We need:

• Cup without a pattern;
• Stencil;
• Nail polish.

1. Dot painting looks very advantageous on the dishes. And for this I will use regular nail polish. I picked two colors that, at first glance, do not go well with each other: burgundy and gray. But I think it will look very unusual and stylish on the cup. Nail polish can be applied, can be replaced with acrylic paint.
2. I will still work with varnish, because such work will not take much time. The varnish will dry very quickly, so it will take me half an hour to work with the cup. So, dots can be applied independently without using any stencil, but it will not be so easy and even. In this case, it will be difficult to put points at the same distance from each other, and the work may not turn out very accurate.

3. I will use self-adhesive as a stencil. This is an ordinary film that is glued to any object. If you have any other stencil at home with some letters, patterns, you can use it or cut it yourself.
4. The convenience of such a film is that it sticks to the cup tightly enough and our drawing will come out neat. Cut out small fragments from the film. Pastes randomly.
5. Before sticking the film, the cup must be thoroughly washed so that there are no frozen droplets on it, no fat. We glue the film, let the cup stand for a couple of minutes to allow the glue to dry.
6. And then we just paint over our fragments of the film with varnish. We try to make sure that the varnish penetrates into the holes. We leave the cup, preferably not in the room: the smell of acetone can not very well affect your health.
7. Let the cup stand and dry properly. 15 minutes passed. Gently try the varnish with your finger. And if it is completely dry, very carefully, slowly, we remove all the fragments of the film. The cup is ready! It turned out to be unusual and original. If I want to change something in it, or if something didn't work out for you, you can use a regular nail polish remover and fix the flaws.
