The previous owners left the linoleum. But they didn't even have time to stick it. The concrete walls were covered with ordinary paper wallpaper. Cast iron radiators painted in coral were bright accents.
This is how the room looked until the moment the renovation was made.
The owners had a good idea of what they want from the apartment, and in particular from the kitchen. That is why the repairs were started online.
Initially, all the old finishes were dismantled. The hosts performed this stage on their own. It took quite a bit of time. At the same time, the nerves were practically not wasted.
Then partitions and plasterboard niches were mounted on the ceiling. After that, the ceiling was leveled and the tiles were laid. All work was carried out by experienced builders, finishers.
Radiators made of cast iron of an unusual coral color have been replaced by steel white ones. The plumber did it.
The owners did the rest on their own. They really liked it, and there was more than enough enthusiasm.
I wanted to create gentle and at the same time bright enough accents. One of them - apron in the kitchen. The tiles of the Spanish production were chosen for it. For the living room, they selected curtains that match in color to one of the stripes on the apron.
The interior is really impressive. It is luxurious and at the same time laconic and stylish.
For the floor in the working area, tiles from a well-known European manufacturer were selected. The whole apartment, and in particular the living room, has laminated flooring. It has a four-sided chamfer. Non-classic overhead sills are provided between the laminate and the tiles. A strip of white mosaic was made. It is in the same plane as the flooring.
The living room is combined with the kitchen. That is why it was necessary to carefully equip the ventilation. This is necessary so that the smells of your favorite dishes do not soar in all rooms, but are quickly sent in the right direction. For this, a powerful hood from a well-known manufacturer. Forced ventilation was installed in the plasterboard ceiling niche. It is provided in the corner on the right.
The set was made by an individual entrepreneur according to previously created sketches. The facades are made of white glass and laminated chipboard. The fittings are of excellent quality. During operation, it became clear that glass facades are much more practical than laminated ones. The spots on them are almost invisible. Dirt and dust can be removed easily. In this case, it is not even necessary to use detergents. This option is a real find for the hostess. Now there is no need to engage in constant cleaning.
Appliances of built-in type of well-known European manufacturers were selected. Moreover, it fully meets the requirements of the owners. Initially, the refrigerator was somewhat upsetting, since its useful volume turned out to be quite small. The owners did not initially think that built-in refrigerators were somewhat smaller in volume. But then they got used to this technique, they began to buy fewer products.
The mixer is of excellent quality, made in China. The smooth operation of the handle is very pleasing. Lime stains are incredibly easy to wash off. A convenient rain function is provided. Its advantages were appreciated even by the owners' daughter, who is only one and a half years old. Everyone loved it when she was able to shower directly in the sink.
From the sink to the right, we managed to create a comfortable corner. Moreover, he is completely hidden from prying eyes. Here you can store those items that are needed in the kitchen every day. They will be completely invisible. This angle also saves when you need to put things in order online. If guests are to come very soon, and the hostess is busy preparing delicious dishes, but a lot of dirty dishes have accumulated around, it does not matter. You can very quickly remove all the items in the corner. So it will be possible to put things in perfect order.
There is a plant on the countertop to the left. There will be a coffee machine here very soon. The owners are planning to purchase it in the near future.
A dining area is provided in the living room. The wall near the window is framed with compact timber of a certain size. They were glued to a sheet of plywood in advance. And then the whole structure was screwed to the wall. This work is incredibly difficult. You need to cut the cubes with a jigsaw. To do this, you should take wooden slats. Then each block is processed with sandpaper. Everything is carefully glued. All the work took a month. Everyone worked on the creation of the masterpiece, including grandmothers. We managed to create a truly family wall.
The table is made to order. It is made of pine and then veneered with high-strength oak. The chairs are made by a well-known Polish company. It turned out to be a small overlay. The hosts ordered four chairs, but only delivered three. The seller assures that the fourth chair will be delivered very soon.
The lighting is organized in a special way. It is possible to separately turn on the light in the working and dining areas. Above the table top is provided LED backlight. This option is incredibly convenient. It is possible to solve not only the main problem of lighting. This creates an incredibly gentle and pleasant light in the living room. It is ideal for drinking tea or watching your favorite programs on TV.
