Easter basket with felt eggs and bunnies

The bright holiday of Easter will come very soon. I really want the house to look especially warm and cozy on this day. Easter cakes and other treats will soon appear on every table, in every home. But you can also decorate the kitchen with your own hands in the Easter theme. I propose to make an Easter basket with eggs and hares)))

• Chicken eggs;

1. Our Easter basket will consist of beautifully designed Easter eggs and Easter bunnies. When you have real Easter eggs, themed decorated, on the eve of the holiday, you can easily put them in the same basket. For now, let's start with making rabbits. Cut out the templates of the body, ears and legs from cardboard.
2. We will sew our Easter bunnies from colored felt.

3. I chose yellow and purple for my characters. Cut out the elements, put the paws on the spout on the body. If necessary, smooth the edges with scissors.
4. We sew all the details with a regular buttonhole seam - our bunnies are ready. Inside, I placed a folded cotton pad, cut to fit the shape of a rabbit. This is necessary for the volume of the figure.
5. Now we take ordinary chicken eggs (or buy wooden ones, especially for such a decor), make a hole at the top and bottom, blow out the yolk - we get an empty egg.
6. We simply wrap such eggs in beautiful napkins or bright wrapping paper and decorate with bows or ribbons.
7. The next step is making the basket. You can make it in any size, I have a basket diameter of 15 cm (for three eggs). We glue the bottom with colored paper. I chose green, which mimics grass.
8. Cut out strips of grass and sides from felt.
9. Using hot glue, we attach the sides to the bottom.
10. We make the sides low. You can trim them a lot from the front so that our Easter bunnies are clearly visible.
11. I also prepared bright ribbons that I will need to decorate my craft. Bright thin ribbons create a spring mood. They can also decorate our bunnies.
12. Cut out bright elements from the remnants of felt: flowers and hearts.
13. We attach all this to our basket, into which we then place all the elements of our composition.
14. There are several options for how you can position our heroes.
