Bubble

The most popular is bubble (rack). It has become the most common due to its simplicity, ease of measurement and affordability. The principle of operation is associated with a colored liquid in a transparent cone. A bubble moves in it, by the position of which one can judge how smooth the surface is.

Pipe levels can be attributed to the varieties of the bubble device. Their principle of operation is also associated with air bubbles, but in addition they are equipped with magnets for attaching to pipes. Another modification is the electronic level. They have multiple bubble chambers as well as a digital display. Thanks to this, it is possible to carry out measurements with an accuracy of 0.1O.

hydraulic levels

Types of building levels work on water, including hydraulic levels. This is a transparent tube, at its ends there are measuring flasks with a number of marks. The principle of operation is based on the alignment of fluid in communicating vessels.

To use the device, water is drawn into it, while avoiding air ingress. Next, two people take one flask in their hand and open the lids on them. One flask to the wall next to the mark, and the other - in the area where you want to make a mark. Then the first part is raised or lowered until the water levels in both flasks are on the same straight line.

laser

A professional tool that gives the most accurate results. It is equipped with electronic equipment and a laser, thanks to which you can take a measurement in just a few seconds. There are 3 types of devices:

1. Classical - equipped with a laser pointer that projects a beam onto the surface.
2. Level - placed on a tripod or bracket, generates a beam from the projector, by which you can determine the degree of evenness.
3. Plane Builder - creates several rays that visually form a flat surface.
