Whitening faded clothes
The easiest way is to soak things in a solution of whiteness.
- To do this, pour cool water in a basin and add chlorine bleach to the same place.
- Mix the water well and put the laundry in it.
- Things should be rinsed thoroughly after 2-3 hours.
It is not necessary to pour too much bleach. It will be enough one or two caps per liter of water, and it is best to look at the instructions for the bleach. The method is very effective, however, this can only be done with white things made of cotton or flax.
For colored clothing, use bleach free oxygen bleach to remove stains from shedding. In addition, there are special stain removers, such as Vanish or K2r, which help to remove colored spots and stains. Perhaps the first time they will not help, but if you apply them several times, then often the thing can be saved.
Re-washing
Colored clothes with faded stains on it should be washed immediately. In this case, there is a chance that you completely eliminate unwanted paint. It is necessary to rub the stains with soap, you can use anti-speck soap or any other with a whitening effect. Clothing should be soaked for an hour or so. Then it is washed again with good powder.
You can simply rewash the item, only use warm and cool water instead of hot. Sometimes two or three repeated washings are enough for the dye to be removed.
Ammonia
Try to use ammonia to remove faded spots from slightly spoiled clothes.
- In the pot it is necessary to draw water and heat it.
- Add alcohol to water at the rate of: for 1 liter of water 20-30 ml of liquid ammonia( these are 2 large spoons).
- Soak a thing in this solution for 20 minutes, and then rinse.
If a thing is made of thick natural fabric, then it can be heated almost to a boil, so that the solution works better. This method will not work for more delicate fabrics. Just soak them in warm water with alcohol.
We mask faded spots
Quite often, after several washings, the spots disappear. But if they do not want to move away, then you can try to repaint the thing in a different, darker color. Such method approaches monophonic fabrics.
Do not forget that when clothes shed, it not only paints other things, but can itself become covered with lighter spots. This happens, for example, with jeans, if you choose a too hot temperature when washing. In this case, thick fabric can be whitened even more. There are special bleaching agents for such a case. Well, if we talk about the home method, then soda or hydrogen peroxide will help. Add one of these substances to the powder during the wash. A couple of tablespoons of substance will suffice.
Precautions
Never forget that careless washing can ruin any thing. Choose the right temperature and try to wash colored clothing separately from white. Yes, today they use more durable paints that are quite difficult to wash off, so we relaxed a bit and say to ourselves often: “Nothing will happen if I drop this pink blouse with a white T-shirt.”It is because of such decisions that clothing and sheds.
Another common mistake is that colored clothes may accidentally get to white. To prevent this from happening, check the drum of the washing machine so that it is empty before starting to wash, and lay each thing separately, and not all in a crowd.
Also note that the cotton fabrics dyed in dark colors strongly fade. Synthetic products can spoil our clothes. The most unstable, molt-prone colors are red and blue. Be careful with them. Well, that's it, take care of your clothes and wash them properly.
