Well - pooh-plowed, but something needs to be done. Fighting aphids in the garden is not a very pleasant process, but don’t give up your crop to be eaten by it.

I walked around the site, looked under almost every leaf - everywhere aphids. How could I miss her? After all, not in one day she actually occupied my entire garden.

On the inflorescences of dill I noticed a gilded eye. This is such a small fly of light green color with large transparent wings, long antennae. Refers to beneficial insects. Golden-eye larvae feed on aphids. On some zucchini she noticed ladybirds, the larvae of which also willingly eat the aphids.

Just in the last issue of our regional newspaper for gardeners, gardeners "Niva Kuban" read that before you start processing plants from aphids, you need to take account of these insects. If, for example, there are 5 golden-eyed larvae or 30 ladybird larvae per an aphid specimen, then it is better not to use any preparations to combat the aphids. In the same newspaper, a plant protection specialist advises the use of the biological drug bitoxibacillin. The proportions for preparing the solution are as follows - 40-100 g of the drug dissolved in a bucket of water, spray them with vegetable or fruit plants.

What specific amount of bitoxibacillin powder needs to be dissolved depends on the type of plant and the type of pest. This drug is effective not only against aphids, but also of the Colorado potato beetle, various caterpillars, spider mites. One caveat when preparing the solution - first dilute the powder in a small amount of water, let it dissolve, and then add it to the bucket of water.

In addition to bitoxibacillin, you can use other biological insecticides against aphid - akarin, fitoverm.

My cucumbers are already hanging-green, the raspberries are spiced - the chemicals are processed, the hand does not turn. Therefore, until biopreparations were purchased to combat aphids, I decided to prepare an infusion of celandine - the good of it grows in secluded corners of the garden. Narwhal celandine, filled the bucket at 2/3, filled with cold water. Left insist until the morning.

I processed all this infusion of celandine this morning, and walked around the garden again in the evening - it seemed to help. At least, I do not see on cucumbers, plums of ants. And once the ants are gone, the whole thing is dead — they have nothing to eat.

But I have to warn you that if conditions of development favorable for aphids remain, then you may have to process garden and garden plants more than once or resort to chemical means.

For example, roses, raspberries after harvest, young fruit trees, if there are no fruits on them, can be treated with chemicals. Effective in the fight against aphids - Fufanon, Kemifos, Iskra-M, Alatar, Inta C-M, Konfidor Extra, Aktara.

Tomatoes, cucumbers with fruits can be processed from aphids by Fitoverm - a biological insecticide - it does not accumulate in the fruits, it is not dangerous for humans.
