Ombre is the name for color transitions. It is used both for transitions between colors and between shades. A few years ago, ombre technology became increasingly popular. A similar effect was first used by cosmetics manufacturers. Ombre appeared first in hair coloring, then in fashionable clothes. Interior design also did not stay away from the fashion trend.
The most noticeable ombre effect may be on the walls, but at the same time it will be the most difficult to realize. On a huge surface, color transitions are not easy to organize accurately, this requires experience, skill and patience. You can practice on your own if you select a small area for this purpose. It’s not worth risking with a whole wall, with a probability of ninety-nine percent after that you will have to invite the master and remodel everything.
For the upper part of the room, when distributing colors, light shades are usually chosen, for the lower - dark ones. This is explained by the fact that the standard ceiling height usually does not exceed three meters, which is quite small. If the bottom is made darker, the ceilings visually appear higher, and the floor becomes more stable in perception.
In any direction, you can experiment if the height of the ceilings exceeds three and a half meters.
On fabrics, the ombre effect is implemented quite often, therefore, this type of textile can also be included in the interior, for example, for window decoration. Fabrics with this color look magical. Especially beautiful are the canvases on which the techniques resembling careless watercolor strokes were chosen for transitions.
You can also create a similar color yourself. The fabric is dyed, for example, using the batik technique using different combinations of water and paint. From an almost transparent color, they gradually move to a saturated color. You can also gradually lower the curtain or other fabric into the diluted paint. This is a very lengthy and time-consuming task, but the result can be impressive.
Rarely, it happens that ombre bedding is on sale. Color combinations can be very interesting. It is highly discouraged to paint bed linens on their own to get them, since home conditions cannot provide sufficient resistance, paints may not be environmentally friendly. Each week after bedding will not be washable, they will quickly lose color.
