Silkscreen printing is a type of decoration of vinyl wallpapers with the effect of drapery walls with real silk. Thanks to them, the interior takes on an expensive and luxurious look.

Material

Silk wallpapers are very thin, but durable. They consist of two layers: the first, as a basis, is made of paper or non-woven, and the second, bearing decorative component, made of polyvinyl reinforced from silk or synthetic threads.

The color schemes of silk-screened wallpapers are so diverse that any buyer will find his own. Shades from pastel to dark saturated, plain or two-tone. Pastel colors are acceptable for Provence-style bedrooms or bright, spacious living rooms.

Wallpaper with oriental motifs gilding and turquoise is suitable for a bright and extraordinary design. Monochrome wallpapers will look minimalistic.

Silk screen wallpapers are suitable for any room. Canvases with large flowers or imitating textures, such as velvet, satin, wet silk, printed fabrics, are especially popular on sale. Such wallpapers look especially luxurious in spacious rooms or on one of the walls in a small room.

Right choice

After choosing the color, texture, sizes, patterns and calculating the required number of rolls, you need to check the quality of the selected wallpaper. In good samples, the upper and lower layers stretch equally, which contributes to a good adhesion of wallpaper to the wall.
