Brand materials

A brand sometimes costs up to 50% of the price of a product, is it worth it to overpay? Many products in the budget category are no worse than products advertised. And if you decide to save, then all the finishing material should be of the same price category, because you can not mix cheap color with expensive paint.

For example, you can save on fastener materials and choose phosphated instead of galvanized or cadmium plated. Some construction companies deliberately overstate the price of finishes and other consumables, it is advisable to study estimates and compare prices on sale, so as not to stumble on unscrupulous workers.

Ceiling, wall and floor decoration

It is quite realistic to save on finishing materials for the floor, walls and ceiling, so that at the same time they look decent. If we talk about flooring, then the marmoleum will be the best option in terms of price-quality ratio. It is suitable for covering all rooms in the apartment except the bathroom. In addition, there is no need to prepare the floor for it, do expensive concrete pouring. If you really want to lay parquet, but not enough money, you can replace it with an inexpensive laminate.

Instead of wallpaper, the walls in the bathroom can be finished with laminated hardboard - it does not require preliminary preparation, it is hygroscopic.
