Sew a decorative pillow: manufacturing tips

It is even possible that your acquaintances or friends will want to buy your pillows, but this is already a business. Right before work, you need to observe some points:

• If there is a pattern on your pillow, then at the edges you need to leave some fabric so that the pattern is in the center;
• If you want to create embroidery or something like that on ordinary fabric, then first cut the desired fabric size, and then create a pattern;
• If you decide to make a pillow for a long period of time, then the fabric should be chosen more dense;
• It is best to use such material so that the edges do not crumble in the future.

After you have prepared all the necessary materials, you can proceed directly to sewing pillows.

Decide on the size and cut out the necessary length of two squares. Do not forget to leave 1 cm from each edge of the square in order to bend and stitch. After that, fill the pillow with filler.

You make a decorative pillow, so just a plain square is not enough. Take multi-colored pieces of fabric and cut them into three rows of any length, but no more than the pillow itself (do not forget about allowances). After the details are cut out, they need to be sewn together, I fold them with the left allowances. Next, turn the resulting piece on the wrong side and iron it.

To make the front side of the pillowcase more dense, place a batting, and then sew everything together. Since you have a little space left, your pillow will be free. Well, that’s all the front part of the pillowcase on the pillow is ready.

Getting started with pillowcases on the back parts. It can be zipped or fit a pillow. You also need to cut a square, but with an allowance of 10 cm. After that, put two parts on top of each other and sew where the allowance was. All the pillowcase is ready, you can safely iron it and put it on the pillow.
