Organization of space on a balcony or loggia

There is a loggia or balcony in almost every apartment. But not in each they are used functionally. As a rule, these rooms are used for additional storage and storage for everything that is not very necessary. But you can make a cozy corner from a balcony or loggia, even very small ones.

First you need to get rid of all the trash and think over the finish:

• Installation of high-quality double-glazed windows. If it is a loggia or a warm balcony is planned. On the other hand, residents of the southern regions may not need this, since the weather is warm almost all year round.

If we are talking about the southern areas, then the design of the balcony can be thought out in the French style. To do this, it is worth hanging fresh flowers on the balcony in a planter, putting a small bench and a table. You can even arrange a small garden for greens. This option is also suitable for insulated loggias, but instead of a bench you can think of small armchairs or a sofa.

Or just lay a mattress on the floor, cover with a blanket, throw pillows. In this case, you can gather friends on the loggia for evening gatherings.

It would be a good idea to organize an office on the loggia. You can put a table in one corner, and organize shelves on the opposite side. In this case, it is important to consider good lighting. Such an office will provide a good opportunity to concentrate on work or study and breathe fresh air.

If the loggia is adjacent to the kitchen, then you can combine them. In this case, you can make a bar counter or a folding table out of the windowsill. This extends the space of the kitchen, making it more stylish. True, it is worth understanding that on such a loggia it is unlikely that there will be an opportunity to smoke.

If it is impossible to get rid of things that were previously stored on the loggia or balcony, then it is worth organizing their storage. To do this, you can install cabinets along the wall of different sizes. With sufficient skill, you can mount cabinets and shelves yourself, this will save money in comparison with the order in the store and allow you to do exactly what you want.
