The phytowall is a vertical structure, it serves as the basis for the planting of indoor plants. Dimensions of this design can be very different, everything will depend on the personal preferences and needs of the owner. Initially, the phytowall was used on the street, on the facade of the house, and then they began to use it for interior walls.

Such a wall is suitable for any room - living room, kitchen, nursery, bedroom, hallway. Through the use of several types of plants, you can create unique compositions, moreover, you can place so many flowers on it that will not fit on all window sills at home.

Constructions

In order to organize a phytowall, you can use industrial designs or home-made. Thin-walled models are very reliable; they are attached to the floor and are used both indoors and outdoors. They integrate plant irrigation systems that will work in a specified period of time.

Wooden pallets are attached to the walls with self-tapping screws or hung on special hooks.

For planting ornamental plants, you can use step modules made of PVC, they will contain cells. A drip irrigation system is supplied to the structure, a small motor will supply water from the tank.

When installing, it is important to consider that the wall should not get wet, because, as a rule, it is covered with a waterproofing layer.

You can buy a ready-made phytowall, it usually consists of several elements. This is a metal or wood frame, an irrigation system, a timer and a set of ornamental plants. Additionally, lamps can be offered that will replace the plants with natural sunlight.
