In 2016, we decided to build our own housing. We had experience living in an apartment, so I wanted to get my own separate house, in which there would be a large kitchen-living room. The idea came true next year. When we became the owners of our housing, happiness knew no bounds. It only remained to create a dream kitchen.

According to the plan, the size of the room was 14.5 square meters. A large area allowed to turn around and place everything you need. We did not think long, and chose furniture with white facades.

They refused the gas stove right away, I wanted to use a convenient induction panel. And I did not lose, on such a surface even water boils instantly. And care is minimal, just wipe the glossy surface once a day.

Warm floors made it possible to do without installing radiators; on the ground floor it is always warm. Porcelain tile was chosen as the finishing material; it was brought from Poland from the famous producer Stargres.

The tile was ordered in Minsk, through an online store, with delivery. The apron was decorated with material from two collections, it turned out beautifully. True, the masters had to pretty tinker with, because the sizes of the tiles of different collections did not match.

The kitchen and living room were combined, a wide opening was framed by a platband, matching the style of the design of other doorways. Wall covering was chosen immediately. In our last apartment, all the walls were papered with white wallpaper, they completely satisfied us, and in the new house we repeated our experience. On a white background, accents in yellow and gray tones from BN wallpapers, made in the Netherlands, look great.

The ceiling of drywall is painted with acrylic paint, made an identical surface in all rooms. When installing electrical wiring, places for sockets were laid more than enough. And did not regret it. We use many household appliances, and almost all sockets are involved. For the built-in technology, we arranged a separate connection.

Before you buy a kitchen, for a long time went to different salons. In the end, we stopped at a small furniture store GeosIdeal, where we were picked up the perfect kitchen - the Alerga model. My husband is delighted with the kind of specialists who work there, and I liked the furniture itself, especially the facades.

Combining the countertop with the windowsill is an excellent solution, since the standard width is often not enough. And here the working surface is large, they made it to order in Minsk. The headset was ready even before it was announced, and the specialists had to wait until the floor was ready.

We purchased accessories separately, bought everything in Ikea, this allowed us to save significantly, without losing quality. Convenient mechanism for a drawer in which a tray with cutlery is stored, and a closer for a corner cabinet.

We chose household appliances at the same time, bought almost everything together. We bought a new roomy refrigerator, a powerful hood and oven, an induction hob and a dishwasher.

We bought a sink, chose a sink with two containers, it is convenient to use it. At first I wanted plumbing made of white artificial stone, but it seemed to me that it would require laborious care. Therefore, we settled on black material. A mixer with a pull-out spout and a reverse osmosis tap were installed simultaneously with the sink.

The microwave oven does not take up much space; it is successfully placed on the brackets. This made it possible to unload the work surface, while in the apartment we had such a device. In the microwave basket we have a vase with sweets. We specially store sweets higher so that children cannot get too easily to them. A lot of sweets are not useful.

Kaiser hob is my dream, I fell in love with it right away. And I did not regret my choice at all! Cooking on an induction cooker is a pleasure.

The lower drawers are all pull-out, with the exception of the cabinet under the sink. There is a convenient cargo system between the sink and the dishwasher. I store detergents and household products here. Upper cabinets with hinged doors.

On the countertop are items that are used constantly - a coffee grinder, toaster and kettle. Highlighting the work surface allows you to cook with comfort. LED strip held under the upper drawers.

The dining area was designed last. Could not decide which table to prefer. As a result, we bought a black sliding structure in Ikea. Its unfolded length is 166 cm, enough for our family and guests.

The kitchen windows face north, so there is little natural light. We decided to do without curtains, my husband is very pleased, because a gorgeous tree is visible from the window. Militant minimalism triumphed.

How much we spent on the repair of the kitchen-living room, we calculated very approximately. The approximate amount amounted to about 450.0 thousand rubles, but most likely the arrangement cost more. We are very pleased with the result.

Let a little lack of decor, this is the essence of our project, so that there is nothing superfluous in the room. But there is always the opportunity to change something, according to your mood. We are satisfied, and this is the most important thing!
