Initially, the owners believed that the area of ​​the kitchen would not allow to accommodate everything planned. But it turned out that the impossible could well become possible. It all started with the fact that the entrance to the kitchen was moved. Before that, it was located opposite the wall on which the window is located. Now this place is a refrigerator. An old doorway was laid. Made a new one, in a completely different place. At the moment, you can get into the kitchen from the living room.

Mistress liked provenceand the owner - Scandinavian. In this case, no one was going to concede. That is why it is difficult to decide in which style the space is created. This is a mixture of styles. But in the kitchen, nevertheless, Provence prevails.

White was not only the kitchen itself, but also the furniture. Kitchen facades are made of painted MDF. The gray brass and patina handles are a harmonious complement to the Provence style.

Pine boards are selected for the floor. They are coated with toner and then varnished. It was difficult to find a specialist who dared to take up such a responsible job. It turned out that the gray wooden floor is not in demand. Initially, there was a search for gray toner. But the choice offered only a few shades. Moreover, they were bluish or greenish.

We must pay tribute to the master. He took the white toner and added black pigment. I managed to find the optimal proportions. The owners liked the result. The boards look ashen, as if they turned gray with time.

The main problem was the window. I had to perform slanting shelves of the open type. The distance from the corner to the window slopes was 20 cm.

The set was ordered from a trusted company. The owners clearly understood the desired arrangement of cabinets. They also knew what facade they needed. When the drawing was made, an active discussion of the nuances began. As a result, the project was approved.

The kitchen area was small, so I had to give preference to a telescopic hood. The owners liked the classic options that would stylistically fit better. But the size of the room made its own adjustments.

There was no space for a microwave oven, since the owners basically did not want to buy it. If desired, you can use the stove to warm up dinner.

A free-standing refrigerator was purchased. Moreover, its width was only 54 cm. It is decorated with magnets that the owners bring from regular trips.

A box was made near the table, which hid the riser. From it, wiring to the hall and the kitchen is provided. A removable grill is provided. It is needed for quick inspection of pipes for leaks. If necessary, you can quickly fix the problem.

The table model is also compact. Its dimensions when folded are 90 * 50. It is quite convenient for two people. If necessary, the design is expanded. If guests come, you can move the table to the room.

A stainless steel sink was selected. Its coating is matte. In this case, the preference was chosen option without a wing. The hosts sought to save space.

The maximum number was provided outlets. Some of them are above the surface for cooking delicious dishes. The rest are hidden in closets. There is also a gas tap hidden.

When planning, the gas hose was overlooked. But the owner seeks to hide it with the help of the box.

After the kitchen was installed, the hostess decided to provide roof rails. They allowed to place neatly small shelves, potholders, ladles and pans. But after operating the kitchen for a certain time, it was decided to abandon such an idea.

The reason is quite commonplace. If you place rails, you will have to remove them to clean the walls. Dust rarely used items quickly accumulate dust.

The worktop is free. There is practically nothing on it. The hostess is preferable to place small household appliances and utensils in the cabinets. Otherwise, you will have to constantly wipe objects from splashes of grease and accumulated dust.

The kitchen has another unplanned item. Since the apartment has a gas stove, it became necessary to provide a door between the living room and the kitchen. A sliding design was preferred. The principle of its operation resembles a classic wardrobe. Lacobel is selected as the material. It was originally planned to install a single piece of canvas. But then it became necessary to divide it into three parts using special spacers. For safety, the glass should be sealed on the back side. But her color is black. In the closets it is imperceptible. For doors I had to look for an alternative worthy of attention.

It is likely that the layout is quite controversial. If the owners had provided a sink next to the refrigerator, it would have been possible to provide significant space for cooking delicious dishes.

For the window it was necessary to provide a curtain, the length of which would reach the windowsill. The radiator must be closed with a hinged type shield with a beautiful facade. A short curtain would make it possible to put potted plants on the windowsill. They would truly beautify a small space.

It is entirely possible that a light-colored countertop would have complemented the space.

It would be nice to install a mixer that would be in harmony in color with the handles.

It was worth choosing a few pictures as a bright addition. They would give the room integrity and completeness.

It was enough to lower the ceiling a little to forget about such a nuisance as dust.

Stylistically, the door is completely far from the chosen Provence. But it is practically not closed. It turns out that it is hidden between the refrigerator and the wall. That is why stylistic dissonance is completely invisible.

Some people think the kitchen is crystal clear. white color excessively sterile, faceless and empty. But the owners do not like decor. That is why space for them has become an ideal solution.

White color allowed to fill the space with air and light. If you do not imagine the area of ​​the kitchen, then it is impossible to guess.

White color harmonizes well with other colors. It makes the space visually more spacious. The kitchen is filled with light.
