Cozy Mediterranean-style kitchen 12 square meters

Having received a new apartment, the hostess already knew what kind of kitchen she wanted. In her opinion, unobtrusive mediterranean style, light and light, will look great in this room. This desire was explained simply: she loves Italy, the sea and the sun very much.

The owner of the apartment is a designer by profession, so she decided to try her hand and arrange the interior on her own. The husband supported her, set aside a limit for repairs, and work began. The kitchen is 12 square meters and has a balcony. The total repair budget amounted to 300.0 thousand rubles, the headset cost 160.0 thousand rubles.

The working triangle was identified first of all, this is the most important component of this room. The apartment surrendered with a fine finish, so I did not have to redo a lot. Washable wallpapers seemed more suitable in the kitchen, so it was decided to change the wall covering. Light iridescent material with an unusual texture looks interesting.

The kitchen set was ordered from familiar masters who established themselves as reliable and experienced performers. In the previous apartment, their family already ordered furniture, so they turned to them again. The advantage of this solution was that the craftsmen had their own production, and you can see how the furniture is actually made, from what materials, by what technology.

A headset was created according to a jointly developed sketch. Initially, the hostess wanted solid wood furniture, but after thinking, they decided that MDF products would be enough. It will cost a lot less. For a long time they could not decide on the color, there was no way the very necessary shade was found that would suit everyone. Finally, a month later, we agreed on the project in detail.

Two months later, the finished headset was installed in place. We bought a built-in hood and oven in retro style, as well as a hob.

At first they wanted to buy all the equipment in light color, but decided that it would look boring. Therefore, we settled on the brown oven. It looks harmonious with the countertop.

The arrangement of the kitchen did not end there. While repairing other rooms, they slowly brought comfort here, using various trifles for this. We bought an original chandelier, the windows were decorated with nice curtains from Ikea, put a kettle and microwave, which perfectly supported the interior.

Six months later, there was a need to issue dining area. As it turned out, choosing a suitable table and chairs is not so easy, for this the family traveled many shops. And they found a suitable kit near the house, and even got a discount on the purchase.

The interior will be decorated with a stylish sink mixer, which, by pure chance, was bought in Maksidoma, and an interesting wall clock.

The interior was completed by the shelves purchased in Ikea, on which the paintings successfully stood. This stroke made it possible to complete the atmosphere of the dining area.

In the future, the pictures will replace the photos of the family, but so far there is not enough time to deal with this issue.

The corner next to the dining group is a bit out of the general style. The hostess plans to sew a cover on a bottle of water, which stands on a pedestal in the corner. In the foreseeable future, the family wants to purchase a new white TV.

The kitchen interior turned out to be simple and at the same time pleasant, of course, there are several uncritical shortcomings. The biggest is not too good location drying dishes - on the side, and not above the sink.

The forced decision is caused by the fact that a small cabinet hangs above the sink, in which the dryer did not fit. Relatives coming to visit are confused, and the landlady is already used to it. If you find fault, you can replace the white refrigerator with a milk-colored unit. In general, the hostess is almost completely satisfied with the result. And the fact that friends, relatives and acquaintances love this cozy and warm room is even more pleasing.
