My mother unexpectedly (for me) got married a second time and left for another city. And our family had the opportunity to settle in a separate apartment and feel like owners. And also part-time designers, artists, etc.

I don’t know how anyone, but travel and repair bring me the greatest joy in my life. The preparation is somewhat similar to each other - first a long reflection on the concept, then elaboration of the details and the grandiose event itself. The impressive result then warms the soul and gives the best emotions. You can only enjoy the repair for a long time, but only photos and memories remain from the trip as a souvenir. But still, both of these actions I want to repeat again and again.

Therefore, we made the decision to repair almost immediately after the move. We put a lot of effort into the kitchen, as this is the place where the family spends the most time. I painted the wallpaper myself, having received great pleasure in the process. Our apartment is a full-length stalin, with a ceiling height of 320 cm. Therefore, together with the designers, it turned out to realize a lot of ideas on an area of ​​14 m2.

The kitchen is in a modern style. Italians know how to make furniture that will look modern, stylish and expensive for a long time to come. Flax colors are always relevant and popular. Ash Chimo added light and cosiness to the room, and gray cold wallpapers only shaded a warm tree. Light ceramic tiles on the floor are also combined with furniture facades.

The decoration of blind facades is simple - veneer tinting by etching. In this way, the wood texture is emphasized. The Italian facades of Scully Lino (22 mm thick) were used. The furniture case itself is made of Austrian chipboard from Egger, the frame and veneer inside it are made of ash.

The height of the ceilings made it possible to arrange in the top row as many as 2 rows of lockers and to sew up the rest of the space with drywall (which wallpaper was glued to). In drywall, we placed exhaust and water pipes.

Below we used the Volpato base. Planks are made of aluminum coated with brushed steel foil. In addition to the fact that the joints of the surfaces are completely airtight, the base itself goes well with handles and an oven.

Inside the cabinets are Blum mechanisms. All upper cabinets are equipped with Aventos lifts, so large and heavy facades open easily. The latches allow you to keep the doors fully open and it is very convenient during cleaning, and when you put the dishes in the cabinet. Especially if you have as many as 2 rows of upper cabinets and you use them most often.

The built-in refrigerator and the same freezer (floor with a countertop on the right) is another dream come true. It is the refrigerator in almost any kitchen that stands out as a foreign body. The exception is metal surfaces, but I would like to imagine such a kitchen the least. Having closed the wooden facade with household appliances, we got a more harmonious interior.

The dishwasher (to the left of the stove) was also placed under the double facade. On the lower facade, one handle is false, it is needed to maintain a common line.

The apron is hand-painted with paints on the same wallpaper as throughout the kitchen. I could not pass by the opportunity to make my kitchen unique. An art school, completed in childhood, has repeatedly become necessary in adulthood. This skill came in handy this time too. True, for the first time I had to draw on the floor (since the surface is large), but I think I did it.

I really like violet and lilac shades, especially in the form of accents. Chairs, delicate inflorescences on the wallpaper in the corridor - my favorite color is present little by little throughout the apartment.

And even from the purple skumpy growing under the house, I create small compositions)))

The flowers made the apron delicate and stylish. I used acrylic water paints for painting. They are bright, dry quickly, do not smell and the pattern itself can be adjusted in the process.

To protect the wallpaper, we ordered tempered glass, which not only withstands shock and splashes of oil, but also does not distort the pattern on the wallpaper. An apron has become such a necessary accent, while not a bit overloading the interior.

Our countertop is made of artificial stone TriStone (Modern series). By the way, on a classic white acrylic surface, stains and spots from water are practically invisible (unlike dark ones). And caring for her is easy.

All the openings in the apartment we designed in green (basil) using sliding doors. Thus saved a little space in the corridor.

In general, how successful the kitchen is, is up to you to judge. Personally, I really like the end result. And so far I’m not tired of answering the most common question of the guests: “Where is your refrigerator?”
