The classic direction in the interior design of this kitchen can be traced very brightly. But there are some disadvantages of space, rather associated with the convenience of using the kitchen. This is due to the fact that the layout is not very successful. The sink is located on the edge. A large sink with a dishwasher takes up a lot of space.

As a result, the working surface has been reduced. The corner is almost empty, using this part of the table is extremely inconvenient. Reduces the possibility of creating a comfortable working area and the unsuccessful position of the hood. They did not transfer it, and the hob had to be installed in the center.

The kitchen room can be called a classic corner in the apartment. The idea to decorate it in this style occurred to the owner of the apartment, he was also involved in its implementation. Despite the small area, this place is popular. Here the family celebrates the holidays and spends a lot of time on weekdays. Therefore, it was important to get a homely, cozy and warm atmosphere.

The design was based on the concept of creating a calm and comfortable space, for this only natural materials and natural tones were used, if possible. On the way to the dream, I had to reconsider some desires and bring them to reality. The main reason for this was the small area, it does not exceed 7 square meters in a standard panel house.

The time frame for repairs was also set quite large, this is due to limited finances and loan payments. Since they repaired all the premises of the apartment at the same time, they had to save on everything. In addition, shortly before the repair, they purchased a white large refrigerator, which was not possible to replace. But a compromise was found.

The main highlight of the new interior was an elegant hood, created manually in the best traditions of Russian national decor.

Since the family did not turn to specialists at the planning stage of the kitchen, the hood was large enough and took up a lot of space. In a small room, it is advisable to install more compact designs. This would save space for the upper cabinets, increase storage space.

Support the country style allowed the installation of a wooden window frame. In search of creative research, it was decided to create a kitchen set project on their own, and take into account the location of the hood. At the same time, elements were also ordered for the organization of ventilation.

It was not possible to locate the sink by the window, as was originally planned, it was installed in the closet of a small part of the headset with the edge.

The facades of the cabinets are made of solid wood, painted brown. Interesting and harmonious look countertops in beige tones.

Work apron and walls in light beige. The family refused the door, the entrance aperture is decorated in the form of an arch of drywall.

A bit of history

Not without its oddities, the designer suggested making the handles on the upper cabinets contiguous for symmetry and beauty. But in reality, this arrangement was very uncomfortable and prevented the use of doors. Therefore, I had to redo the door for the cabinet-dryer, which led to additional waiting.

But now both the owner of the kitchen and the designer know that it is not necessary to arrange the doors of adjacent cabinets so that they open towards each other if one of these cabinets is angular.

Equipment

We bought a brand new kitchen gas hob and an electric oven, both elements are built-in. The old LCD monitor, which is used as a television screen, was successfully placed in the room. Even in his student days, the owner used it to write a dissertation.

A large Atlant double-chamber refrigerator was set in a corner. A small-sized kitchen requires a competent approach in the use of the area, and it would be better to purchase an integrated refrigerator. But this unit was purchased in advance. So that he does not stand out from the rest of the furniture and appliances, one of the walls was hung with magnets.

These design elements are the whole story. They were brought from trips, each magnet individually raises pleasant memories, and gives positive emotions.

A retro-style microwave was sheltered nearby. It fits perfectly into the existing interior, combining color with a refrigerator, handles on the headset and railings. Although it is also planned to change it.

The rustic country style and natural materials were not chosen by chance. It is known that only natural materials can age beautifully, while remaining virtually unchanged. And in any case, the equipment will have to be changed sooner or later, but while the old units are working, it does not make sense to purchase new devices.

In the future, it is planned to purchase other kitchen appliances, additional sockets have been created for it next to the working area.

Ceiling

The surface of the ceiling was paneled with MDF, and decorated with artificially aged beams, this design perfectly supports the rustic style. Fears that MDF in the kitchen will not last for a long time have not been confirmed. A good hood does not allow fat to accumulate on the walls and ceiling.

Floor

The floor is laid with linoleum, the color and texture resembles tiles. The coating is very soft, it is very nice to walk on it even barefoot. There is a small child in the house, and such a coating will protect him from filling extra cones. Dishes in the case of awkward handling will also not be affected.

Moreover, the floor remains warm without the organization of special heating, which also allowed to save. This is especially true given the increase in the cost of electricity. The only choice in favor of a lighter color would visually make the space lighter airy.

Dinner Zone

Lunch group represented by an elegant round table Flamingo, with a diameter of 90 cm. If desired, it can be decomposed. But even when folded, it allows you to accommodate six, when companies gather, 8 people easily sit behind it.

The table is taken "for growth", the family is young, it is planned that new members will appear. Two chairs go to the table, which are usually taken out to another room, since the active kid likes to housekeeping by the stove or sink. To do this, he quite easily climbs into a chair.

Decor and small details

The decor of the kitchen is an integral part of the design, which makes it individual and lively. Elements are added gradually, thus forming a single and unique image inherent in this particular room. On the eaves near the window, a clay flask was successfully attached, which attracts attention.

The grape branch partially hides the pipe from central heating. She decorated the baguette located on top of the kitchen. An artificial vine is placed in an elegant pot next to the sink. Its use allowed to brighten up the side wall of the cabinet, making it textured and interesting.

Homeliness allows you to create bouquets of dried flowers and pots with bright violets, which are placed on the windowsill. The overall country style design is supported by accents such as a flower lamp over the dining area and a bronze-colored cornice. On the wall near the work surface are fixed roof rails. They hang a spice rack, kitchen stuff.

Of course, this room cannot be called completely ideal, the design has its own advantages and disadvantages. One of the walls of the kitchen is still empty, in the near future, homeowners will take up its design.

It is planned to set the illumination of the working area, the best option is to hold an LED strip under the enclosures of the wall cabinets. The general lighting of the kitchen, which is represented by one chandelier, is clearly not enough. It would not hurt to arrange separate lighting for the dining group.

While the young family has priority over saving, rather than the pursuit of excellence. Therefore, the fact that the project is not completed completely does not bother anyone. But the owners do not abandon their dreams of an ideal kitchen, and in the distant future they hope to acquire new housing, with a large room for the kitchen, in order to fully realize their desires and creative ideas.
