Who would have thought that from vegetables you can make a delicious jam? For example, from patissons and zucchini an exotic dessert with pineapple taste is obtained, while vegetables do not "smell" there.
Such jam is often prepared only from courgettes. But everyone knows that the flesh has a denser structure with the patisson, which keeps the shape in the cooking process, in contrast to zucchini, which can collapse. The combination of these two types of vegetables allows you to keep the beautiful appearance of the jam, and pieces of squash and really crunch like pineapples.
What products will be needed?
To make jam, you need to take:
- 1 kg of patissons;
- 350 ml of pineapple juice;
- ¼ of a lemon;
- 100 g of sugar;
- 150 ml of water (if necessary).
If you do not have a lemon on hand, it will be replaced by ordinary citric acid.
