Getting a quality apartment repair is impossible without the presence of perfectly flat surfaces. Curved walls or corners negate all the work, making the room untidy. It is not difficult to get even corners on the walls even with independent work. It is only important to know and observe the technology of their implementation.

Not everyone knows how to correctly use a special mounting profile to align the angles, so you can do without it. Get other angles will allow other ways - the use of drywall or plaster.
It is most convenient to use drywall. It is attached to the walls on a special frame made of profiles, or without it - on glue or dowels. The advantages of this method include the lack of lengthy preparatory work and the need for applying a plaster mortar. Immediately after installing drywall, it can be puttied.

However, if there is a risk of mechanical damage, drywall is not recommended. For example, a similar method is well suited for the interior corners of a room or slopes of window openings. In the doorways, drywall can easily be damaged by furniture or other similar items moving around the apartment. Therefore, door slopes are best done from wooden or plastic panels.
The corners at the joints of drywall sheets, when applying putty should be reinforced with plastic reinforcing tape. After that, the walls are carefully sanded until a smooth surface is obtained, and then primed before applying the topcoat.

If the walls have a significant curvature of the surfaces, the use of plaster mixes will make it possible to obtain ideal angles. First you need to prepare the wall. To do this, it is cleaned of contaminants. Then the surface is primed in several layers, and lighthouses are exposed. They are indented from the corners at a distance of about 5-10 centimeters. The gap between two parallel beacons should be less than the length of the rule used to level the plaster.
Plaster should be applied first on one wall. Evenly filling the distance between the beacons on one wall, the following surfaces are plastered. Without waiting for the plaster mix to fully cure, the beacons are removed, and the formed furrows are closed.

Corner joints are performed using a special angular spatula. Lightly dried plaster is smoothed with a tool dampened in water, forming an even angle.
